♥ March (Ainir) Event Log

March Event Log
Spring has sprung! Or at least, in theory. The month began monthly unremarkably, besides the priests of Ainea's temple prepping for the first month in their deity's season, which tends to be a little sleepy as the city traditionally shakes off those winter woes. The earthquakes still has everyone feeling a strange anticipation for change, but with how long it's gone with no noteworthy shifts yet, excitement has grown somewhat muted. All of that is about to change...
❥ PROMPT I: Let the Rain Fall Down

The month begins with something peculiar: a sudden rainfall occurring sporadically, not just in sections of the city the way it does when the weather system is malfunctioning, but rather consistent across the entire city. The natives in town are flummoxed; this rain is natural, passing harmlessly through the barrier, and the water that falls to the ground is clean, unpoisoned by the perpetual storm and toxic air outside. The rain comes in waves, from a light drizzle to a steady stream, and while it is not raining all day every day, it is probably best practice to travel with an umbrella on hand for a while.
Before long, the effects of this natural rainfall will become apparent: the city is undergoing an unexpected period of growth. Flowers, fauna, and all sorts of greenery are sprouting up in all areas of the city where grass or soil exists. It appears that at last your effort is paying off, and life is returning to Havenwell in a big way. The types of plants that grow will range in type, colour, and species- many of them are live versions of the extinct plants that have been on display in the museums, or whatever is already on display in the gardens. Some of the plants that grow might also be familiar to the visitors of this world- a small slice of your home, adopted by the gods that your touch have rejuvenated.
One downside is that since all these changes are happening at once, in such a short span, the botanical community is ill-equipped to make sure all of these new plants have a chance to thrive on their own. Many things that grow can be left where they stand, but the seemingly randomized placement means that certain plants aren't in a good spot. A tree sapling sprouting in the cracks of the sidewalk, or a sunflower tucked away beneath a rooftop, for example.
Thus, the community is asking for volunteers to help relocate plants to the proper areas. Most should be going to the parks, gardens, or temples, areas with clean, existent soil but with nothing yet growing there. These locations have been tested, and have been determined to be safe for planting- it seems that the rain has purified whatever sour ground that the barrier hasn't kept clean, to make way for the new plants. They can also be relocated to personal residences, for those houses that have gardens or a bit of soil if you're willing to install your own. As the rain continues to fall, plants will keep growing, so when the flora and fauna are relocated there will be more growing in its place before long. Lots of work to be done if you're to save the new life in town!
If you wish to include a specific plant from your canon: please request it in the PLANT FROM HOME APPROVAL thread on the plotting post!
Please be aware that much like the rest of the plants growing around town, those from home will begin as seeds and grow gradually over the course of the event. Keep that in mind!

❥ PROMPT II: Hold My Flower

As the days pass, and there seems to be no end to the growth in town, the natives are growing increasingly excited, and when the collection of flowers becomes such a plethora that there are too many, they explain that the timing of this is very on-point: years ago, before the world began to die, they celebrated a Festival of Flowers, to welcome the shift of winter to spring in their corner of the world. In previous years, the tradition lived on in a simpler form, with paper or synthetic flowers, but it isn't really the same without hair so interest waned.
A major part of the festival involves flower weaving, in many intricate patterns and arrangements, all of which have different meanings, like an arranged bouquet might. These flowers are sewn together into crowns, or woven directly into the recipient's hair, a delicate and rather intimate act done between friends, family, or lovers alike. Since the robots of town can't really benefit from this shared experience (of neither physical interaction or hair weaving), instead they happily pass along their knowledge of arrangements and techniques, floral symbolism. You can follow along with their directions, or just make something up/create something new, though certain unwitting combinations are bound to earn some curious (or amused) looks from the locals. For those of you who lack long hair for such acts, despair not! Crowns placed on short hair are just as socially welcome as the weavings, as you'll see from the robots wearing similar designs around town.
However, there is a chance that the rain is also causing something other than plants to grow around town… namely, exposed hair. Those who get caught in the downpour might inexplicably notice that their hair is an inch or two longer the next morning… and then longer… and longer… there is no hard or fast limit to how much it grows, and cutting it may help for a time, but it does not stem the growth either. Maybe you should just relax and enjoy it for a while.

❥ PROMPT III: Scheme of the Wyrm Queen

Developed by Noctis and Pyra, in collaboration with the VR cafes, Havenwell officially presents: King's Knight 2.0: Scheme of the Wyrm Queen, a game that will be available going forward and premieres this month.
This game is designed to be like an MMO/mobile game, except in VR- every player gets an account, and to an extent their avatars are customizable. There are a set number of levels per playthrough, you can stop and pick up any time after a level ends, and you can re-arrange your party members at the start of each play session.
You can charge through levels just smashing away at enemies, but part of the game mechanic is that physical contact between characters in-game will provide stat boosts, enhancements, occasional heals or buffs, soft revives at 0HP, etc. The effect can vary depending on the nature of contact, but is also randomized to an extent, to allow for player freedom. Let's just say that intent plays a part... so touch someone and wish with your heart, and maybe something nice will happen. Or at least something kind of cheesy. (Noctis would like to establish that he did not program in that part.)
Noteworthy features:
Available Classes:
Enemies:
Monsters in-game vary between generic beasts of lore, parody versions of creatures found in Final Fantasy XV, and some monsters based on descriptions that Noctis or Pyra acquired from asking people. These are subject to change on request, as the game will be developing gradually to improve itself.
If you have suggestions or requests for monsters, treasures, or equipment, please submit them to the additional information page on King's Knight, where such updates will be tracked!

(Noctis would like to establish that he did not program in that part.)
Noteworthy features:
- The plot: The evil dragon queen Nebula has kidnapped the prince of Oriens and absconded to the realm of monsters with him for some nefarious purpose. The gods of Totally Not Aellyn bless a group of heroes with the power to travel through that realm in order to rescue the prince! ...That's it. What, do you think you're here for plot? Nah. You're here to fight monsters and collect treasure.
- A party can consist of 2-4 characters of any class arrangement, though a somewhat balanced party is encouraged to survive each level. Repeated training (or grinding) can help characters acquire better gear drops or level up if they get stuck, but there is an emphasis on teamwork to get you through it!
- "Death" in-game causes a character to become translucent and unable to interact with the game until healed or revived, or until the level ends. If all characters reach this status, they fail the level and the game is over. All characters are healed to full once a level is beaten.
- Levels are randomly generated based on a set amount of algorithms, to shake up the experience and make each game a little bit different. There is a plot as noted above, with some dialogue and programmed NPCs, but interaction with either is simple and can be ignored or skipped after the first run-through if you so choose.
- Certain accounts of people who were a part of the development (AKA those who Noctis pestered about designing things) will gain access to unique costume options upon initial log-in, like a pre-order bonus. These items are cosmetic only, but look pretty nifty.
- The difficulty setting can be adjusted according to player skill, so if anyone feels like Normal is beyond their ability, don't be ashamed to turn it down a notch! Player accessibility is more important. There are leaderboards for each difficulty, but it's mostly for bragging rights and don't earn you anything special.
Available Classes:
- Knight - a well-rounded swordsman with a shield, built tough for the front line and defense
- Thief - master of finding hidden objects, detecting traps, disarming foes, the fastest class
- Sorcerer - commanding the elements, attack from a distance and overwhelm your enemies; glass cannon
- Battle Cleric - wielder of a magic weapon that recognizes friends from foes; striking an ally will heal them without injury, striking a foe will tear them down
- Dragoon - specializes in aerial assault, heavy hits and safe retreats, can reach high areas
- Archer - speedy attacks at long distance; inexplicably great at parkour and glitching out of bounds for treasure

❥ PROMPT IVish: A Final Reminder
The soft earthquakes in effect since last month are still ongoing, however they have spread out more and are no longer occurring every day, but instead with a handful of gaps in between. As noted in the Intro Mingle log, there are new messages that characters can receive:
1) "Change is coming." this message is passive, almost like a greeting.
2) "We thank you for all you have done." this message is softer, almost apologetic.
3) "We shall do all we can to keep you safe." this message is gentle, almost parental in its affection.
4) "Share your bounty and your joy." this message is kind and encouraging, tugging you toward people you may not have met yet.
5) "Remember to keep the balance." this message is plaintive, but without urgency.
6) "Do not approach the walls." this message is LOUD, insistent, and the most frequently transmitted.
7) "Soon, change." this message is a gentle reminder.
8) "We welcome you to our home." This message is sent most frequently to newcomers.
9) "Be not afraid. You are safe." this message is polite and reassuring.
10) "Keep your footing and watch your step." this message is cautious, a firm warning.
Most of the residents have stopped linking up, since the messages are mostly on repeat, but the local temple priests still do it every time… just in case. Otherwise, it's easy enough to ignore for most people. The anticipation hasn't faded, but they're simply waiting for whatever comes next.

Lance | Voltron: Legendary Defender | Ainea
[Lance has always loved rain-- the feel of the droplets on his skin, the scent that has a fancy name he can never remember, the coolness in the air. It's refreshing, body and soul, and something he almost never encountered since he was a child. Going to school in the desert and then being launched into space will do that to you. And while some people might be grumping about the clouds, Lance is more than happy to enjoy the rainfall.
You can spot him still on his walks, regardless of whether it's a light drizzle or heavier rain, with absolutely no umbrella in sight. Feel free to ask him whaddup. At that, you might notice that his appearance has changed a little...namely, that his hair is longer. (See prompt below for details!)
Just as amazing, though? The flowers. This place being what it is, such things weren't in abundance before. And now it seems to be almost overabundance. He decides to help with plant relocating, bringing them to other places to plant in the empty soil. That done, he even brings some plants back to his own house to put in the front yard. Nothing too fancy, really, but it can help brighten the place up.]
[II - Hold My Flower]
[A flower festival? Awesome! A perfect way to welcome the spring. And like every other festival, Lance is eager to participate. When he was much younger, he used to weave flower crowns with Rachel and Veronica. It's an activity he's happy to take up again. There are some people on his list of must-make-crowns-for, and he gets on those first, but once that's done? He'll just make some more and give them away to other friends. Or even strangers!
Do you want to join him in weaving? The more the merrier! Are you wandering around by your lonesome looking a little lonely? Well, you may just have a lanky young man headed your way to offer you a crown.
There'a an extra side effect to the whole fact that he's been walking in the rain a ton, too--his hair is now longer. A lot longer. Shoulder length, in fact, though his bangs only go about down to his chin. While he plans on cutting it soon, he's going to enjoy it while it lasts, even if he's rather self conscious of how he looks with it. After all, one of the main reasons he's always cut his hair so short was that he thought he'd look awful with curls and waves. With this length, it's more obvious that his hair is rather wavy. It kind of reminds him of his sisters, when he looks at in the mirror, so....yeah, he'll stick with it for a little while. Why not. It really isn't as terrible as he'd feared when he was a child.
(Best part about the longer hair? Better for flower crowns and weaving flowers into!)]
[III - Scheme of the Wyrm Queen]
[Every time there's a new VR thing available, Lance is always happy to try it. And this one? It sounds especially cool. At first look, it reminds him of Monsters & Mana, except with a much cooler twist in that he can immerse himself completely in the action. So of course he's diving right in.
Lance bases his character on Pike, his M&M character from back when he and the others were playing on the castle ship. This means that he's now running about as a thief with....are those cat ears? Those may be cat ears. Eager to get started, he approaches the nearest other player he sees.]
Wanna party up and kick some monster butt?
[Wildcard!]
[Anything else? I'm down for anything! Feel free to do whatever, or hmu at

The flowers that follow it make things even better. Keith is delighted by the many flowers, hundreds and hundreds that he's never even seen before. He still has that date to plan for Lance, and this is the perfect opportunity to brighten up the house. Carefully uprooting several plants with delicate white flowers that made him think of Lance somehow, he happily brings them back to plant in front of the house. Kosmo digs the holes for Keith to plant them, and soon the white flowers are joined by other tropical flowers, covering the yard in bright colors.
Keith leans back on his heels, wiping dirt off onto his pants as he admires his work.] Good job, Kosmo.

Needless to say, there's plenty there for Lance to play with if he wants! Meanwhile, Will is regarding one of the flower crowns Lance has already made with the expression of someone trying to understand a technical blueprint. He's never done this sort of thing before, cut him a little slack.....]

finally getting to this oops.... also prompt 1
What he hadn't expected was the rain that came down, it reminded him of home, of the day he found Sushi on the side of the street. Granted...this rain seemed a little different...if the sudden hair growth was anything to go by.
So it's soaked and floating on a rather dense cloud, which seems to be soaking up more rain water just to then rain it down further along the path, that he almost runs right over poor Lance. ]
Woops! Sorry! Didn't mean to bump into ya.
[ The grin he gives the brunette is bright and all white teeth. ]
ii.
Several leis are laid out currently, and he's working on one specifically with a sort of lopsided smirk on his face, chuckling quietly and mumbling to the huge spider as she chitters and bumps her face against his cheek, careful not to stick him with her horn.]
Another line over here, sweetheart...thank you. Yo, you think Plumeria would ever actually wear one'a these? [Ariados recoils, making a face, and Guzma snorts loudly.] Yeah, for real. She'd prob'y what stuff it down the throat'a anyone what tried to rope her with one - let alone her flower.
Or strangle a man with one.
[He laughs quietly to himself, as his Pokemon clicks her pincers in response, a sort of mock laugh as well. Ah, ragging on a friend far away...an old past time, surely. Because it's the only way Guzma could pick on or tease Plumeria - she's a real contender when throwing a swing, or battling the bratty members of their former gang. Hell, she kept Guzma in line. No wonder she was the Big Sister of their little family, and Guzma the so-called Big Brother and boss. They were the toughest, smartest, and most no nonsense of the bunch.]
noctis lucis caelum | ota
[As far as gardening goes, Noctis is... trying. The effort is definitely there. And he's done a bit of farming! But usually not with items so delicate as the flowers he's attempting to transplant from someone's awning to pots, currently. Getting up there is easy enough, but the work itself... not so much. The soil keeps crumbling between his fingers, splitting roots and raining dirt down on the street below- and you, maybe.]
Crap. Again?
( b. he doesn't know what to do with it... )
[It's been a long time since he's done flower-weaving - not since he was a little kid, actually - but the memory is one he shared with Luna, something that is incredibly bittersweet these days. He can't really get into it on his own, so for the moment he can be found just sort of... listlessly sorting pre-picked flowers into different coloured baskets, so other people can retrieve them and weave crowns for themselves. Maybe if someone coaxed him into trying it, he'd give it a go.
Oh, and his hair is stupidly long right now, and is tamed into the laziest ponytail imaginable. Might want to help him with that, too. Damned rain.]
( c. this is where the dorks gather )
[Whichever lucky (or unlucky, depending) sucker has been dragged to the VR cafe with Noctis has to deal with him practically vibrating in the equipment chair; he can't get himself hooked in fast enough. King's Knight! King's Knight! He did this thing and it's real, now! So hype.]
Come on, come on! I've got scores to conquer.
Within minutes he's set up and live in-game, appearing in the hub world between levels in his custom costume, the Phoenix Knight: an intricate golden armor set with clawed gauntlets and boots, a carved feather motif, and a long crimson cape that spreads out into two separate "wings" in the back. It's glorious and tacky and dashing all at once. He's very pleased with it- and with the game itself, taking in the way everything is designed and functioning around him with a huge grin on his face.]
...So cool...
( d. wild wild [card] )
[Up until ~around~ the end of the month, Noctis can be found around town in general, so feel free to hit him up with an alt prompt.]
c
[Said the far more subdued-looking cleric, customized to have natural-looking dark red hair and blue eyes.]
I hope you can be patient with me, I've no real experience with such a game as this.

Pyra | Xenoblade Chronicles 2
[ Another month, another strange occurrence, only instead of earthquakes the city seems to erupt into green and pastels plantlife after the rain. From the early morning hours and onward, the delicate aroma of flowers fill the air; just as well, she never knew she could miss the scent of recently rained-upon grass.
Find her gathering samples of the rainwater into jars as it pours over her, oblivious to the rain that flattens her hair down, or find her carefully plucking out a flower from the soil, roots and all and placing it into a small jar for transport. ]
This rain... [ She says softly, lifting the jar up, remarking in awe at its effects upon the new plantlife. Many of these flowers are alien to her. ] It's extraordinary. [ It also contains traces of the energy found within the barrier, which makes it even more curious. ] I've never seen such... [ A pause, and her eyes narrow as if scrutinizing the contents of the jars. ] temporal effects.
[ When she holds the jar with the plant up to the rain, yes, it blooms; however, there's something else that occurs: the rain seems to cause it to wilt faster. ]
Braiding Your Hair
[ Without any sort of shyness, she'll be waving you over encouragingly, a bouquet of flowers in her arms, ready and waiting to be woven into another's hair. As for her own, it's already decorated with sylleblossoms.
Once you've agreed, she encourages you to sit in front of her upon a bench as she begins to comb her fingers through your hair, parting any tangles or curls and letting the locks fall freely. Should you have short hair, her touch is just as soft and mindful. ] Mm... first question. What is your favorite type of flower? [ She has a variety on hand, from roses to lilies to orchids and more, any of these she will use to customize your your hairstyle. ] Or, what colors do you prefer? I think-- [ Insert a nice, complementary color here! ] --would match your eyes...
King's Knight
[ Want to go exploring with a developer of this game? Look no further! She'll gladly guide you through some of the levels, posing as an Archer-class herself (ref 1, ref 2, for her avatar... sob).
It's at the end of one of these levels, when both you and her are encountering the dungeon boss, that she'll take your hand. Through the game, you'll feel a sudden spike in power-- ] Alright... Now for our final attack...!
[ --for boons are granted when one engages in contact, whether that be extra strength, extra magic power, extra accuracy, or more. The wyrm that the two of you are fighting may have a quarter of its health left, but when powered up together, this finishing move might just be able to defeat it! ] Together!
[ She's eager to defeat this boss, because goodness knows, she's seeing critique of the technical aspects of the game. While Noct handled all of the design, she coded it, wanting to make his imagination become a (virtual) reality. She's eager to know what you might think of the final product! ]
King's Knight: Secret Superboss
[ There's a extra superboss waiting just beyond a jagged summit of this virtual reality, that of the serpentine Ophion weaving in and out of the clouds at a distance. While it's not to the scale of the creature back in her world, it seem as if it could barrel through the mountain with ease that both you and her are standing upon. Fortunately it's not designed to do that in this video game, of course, and it will only be aggro'd when taking a few steps further, where a menu will pop up:
Yes
No
Yet if you truly wish to face this superboss as a challenge to test your current level, she won't deny you the chance. She's perfectly fine with being KO'd in a game! ]
Wildcard
[ Got a prompt in mind for Pyra? Wildcard me here, PM, or PP me at
Rain, rain
Aren't you cold?
[He calls out as he's passing by, arms full with pots of carefully collected plants - sprouts with earthy green and purple leaves - and an umbrella balanced by its handle over his shoulder to keep him relatively dry.]

lup | ota
[What a lovely day in the botanical garden it is! The rain is falling in a gentle drizzle, the plants are growing in tiny bursts of colour all around, residents talking and digging happily through the dirt. It's so nice and peaceful.
And suddenly that lovely calm is broken by a small explosion of fire in the middle of a patch of grass. Lup stands in front of the now-sizzling greenery, hand outstretched and smoking, the obvious source of the noise. For a moment there is only silence... until something black and silvery moves along the ground beneath the dissipating smoke. With a frustrated snarl, immediately she calls a blade of fire from her hand and launches forward, hacking gracelessly at the thing in the grass. Several of the robotic garden workers carefully approach, pleading for her to stop (or threatening to call security), but she is undeterred.]
Just fucking die...!
( b. petal kaleidoscope )
[Lup cares very little for symbolism, for her own crowns; her focus is colour aesthetics, matching whatever shade the highlights in her blonde hair happen to have shifted to on that particular morning. It cycles through a rainbow of 12 depending on the day, so which colour it happens to be that day is a bit of a roulette.
She's been fetching herself a basket full of that particular colour (and complementary partners for it) for a while now, and by the time her path crosses with another, she's humming self-indulgently and ready to roll. Have a nudge!]
I don't see any flowers in your hair, bud.
( c. the wildest of cards )
[Or just find her around, hit up with an alt prompt- she's easy to grab and drag into most things. The joys of being chill as heeeeeeck.]
A...!
Only to immediately scream at the sight. ]
Aaggh!!! Why are the plants on fire?! Did you do this!?

Shinji Ikari [Rawna] OTA
Braced for the worst? Who would possibly brace for the worst around here? (This kid!) Regardless, when the 'change' promised appears to be... lots of rain? Followed up by, even more confusingly, lots of foliage, it seems that perhaps waiting for that other shoe to drop is best left to another time.
This? This is much simpler to cope with than any huge upheaval his mind could imagine. Shinji can deal with this.
Even more than that, though, the accelerated growth rate the rain is giving these plants is downright fascinating to him. What better way to get an up-close look at it, the robots suggest, than helping extract some of the less ideally placed plants and transporting them to better spots? Even on chilly days when the skies are still heavy with rain, Shinji will be going out of his way to get at least a little work done, umbrella balanced against his shoulder to shield him from the downpour as he carefully unearths those errant plants to find better homes for them.
II
Of the flower-based activities being encouraged this month, Shinji's less interested in the decorative endeavors posed by the robots. They're plenty nice to look at, sure, but actually participating doesn't really strike him right away.
What is convincing is the general enthusiasm the natives have when it comes to sharing their craft. Explanations of different weaving techniques or the symbology of different flowers is difficult to escape, but upon catching a few of these impromptu lecture sessions, his curiosity gets the better of him, and some quieter moments in his day are soon being spent gathering up whatever flowers he thinks look nice and later on attempting to weave together a wreath of them.
Don't worry too much about ruining his concentration for a chat, though! Having to occasionally sweep his bangs away from his face is doing a good enough job of breaking up his attention from whichever task is at hand - seems like he ended up getting caught by that rain, despite his best efforts to stay dry. Well. This is fine. He can take care of this problem later.

reyson | fire emblem: path of radiance
[ reyson was in his element. finally a task worthy of a serenes heron. singing softly to the plants, reyson watches them grow and stretch themselves in their new environment, settling their "nerves" so to speak. he remembered the emptiness of his home and the barren, hollow echo of this world when they first arrived. to see this change happening has him bright and shining, an actual glow around his being as he continues to sing and talk to the plants. ]
Yes, grow healthy and strong. I will protect you.
( ii. let your spirit shine )
[ the only downside with this new found weather is . . . the effect it has on reyson's hair. meaning, reyson's already lengthy hair kept growing and growing until it drags behind him as he walks and gets caught on practically anything. right now it has hit a snag while reyson snarls, trying to get it loose and stamping his foot. ]
Useless, useless hair!
( iii. bring back what once was mine )
[ in his spare time, reyson weaves flower crowns and places them in braids. all activities he would do with his siblings. if anyone passes by, reyson pats the bench next to him with a rare smile. ]
Do you wish for some flowers to take with you?

Will | Pokémon (Ainea)
[At first, Will hadn't paid the rain much mind; the weather around here was always a little..... glitchy, after all. Having it happen so frequently was a little odd, but he doesn't think too much of it until he notices how absolutely perplexed the natives seem to be.
But one day, before he can even pull out his umbrella to protect himself from the fresh rainfall, he sees it. Pale green, poking out through the dirt. Flashes of color, from tender buds just beginning to bloom. For a moment, he simply stares; something inside feels like it's twisting and shattering, the hard, tight knot of misery and despair he's been carrying around in his chest softening under the cleansing rain. The first laugh catches in his throat, bordering on a sob--at least he doesn't have to worry about tears, between his mask and the rain itself hiding them?
The rest of the laughter comes more easily, and he's smiling freely for the first time in weeks. Whether you're good friends or a complete stranger, you might just find Will launching himself into you, to throw his arms around you with unrestrained excitement.]
Look! Look what we did! Isn't it beautiful?
Petal Dance:
[Will doesn't really know much about plants, to be honest. He knows about things that are safe to eat, mostly--he's done his fair share of foraging in the woods, on his journey. Caring for a garden, though? Transplanting things? Keeping flowers and herbs safe and healthy? He really isn't sure how to do any of it.
That's why he's really hoping you know what you're doing. Will gives his companion an expectant look, arms full of supplies the local botanists have advised will be necessary.]
So..... what do we do first?
Quiver Dance: (Network post, video)
[Will has been out in the rain. More specifically, he's been out in the rain unprotected, probably for a little longer than he should be, if the video feed is any indication--he looks far too pleased with himself, and absolutely soaked to the skin, dripping wet hair plastered to his face.....
.....And shoulders, and arms, and back, and.....
Yeah. Looks like Someone realized just what the rain was doing, and decided to go out and enjoy it for a little while to have some fun with crazy long hair.]
Who wants to play makeover? My hair's never really been long enough to try doing cool things with it before!
Swords Dance
[For all his worldly travel experience, Will is not a gamer. He loves the VR cafe, of course! But the sort of fare they offer isn't usually this..... esoteric? Just looking at the description and starting menu settings, before even putting the helmet on..... Well, he seems a little lost.
That's probably why he's plaintively looking to his fellow patrons for help. You, specifically.]
Do you know how this one works?
Wildcard
[Any other prompt is welcome, too! You know the drill. Hit me up at
Combining the first three, because who can just pick one?
With his arms full he was wholly unprepared for the sneak attack. For a split second he braced himself, his grip tightening on the pot he was holding, as he barely caught sight of someone coming before they were flying at him.
Everything calmed down quickly, though. It was just Will.
And, surprisingly, Will was smiling and laughing. The tension in his muscles drained and his expression softened.]
...It is good to see that you are feeling better, Will.
[At first glance he looked the same. But, on closer inspection, that persistently loose bit of hair that hung in front of his face now fell to his shoulders, and the hair that was always smoothed back was still smoothed back - into a neat ponytail hanging near the base of his neck.]

Rain Dance
Honerva | OTA
[ It's rain. Honerva's not particularly used to observing this sort of natural rainfall, even if it is usually from safely under an awning, mostly observing with some curiosity the effects it seems to be having upon the area. Almost too good, too promising, and she has not forgotten any of the ongoing warnings, either. A bounty, but at what cost ...
... She thinks too much. Mostly, even with the distraction of the new green sights, her gaze sometimes is turned toward the walls at times, though at least she keeps some distance from them.
Someone else might find a random awning to be a decent place to stop anyway, to get out of the rain shower for a little while; there's plenty of room for someone to join her, even if she doesn't notice their approach immediately. Or perhaps someone wandering by may need of help with wanting to move some of the new plants that are horribly displaced. Probably shouldn't let those struggle on for too long, if her attention is called upon to assist.
On some days, there may or may not be a cat perched nearby that may also draw attention. On the earlier days of the phenomenon insisted on wanting to go out but does not know what to make of all the water, here. He's unused to it, so he sometimes bats at the drops curiously, or watches the puddles form with tail twitching. Walking on the ground seems treacherous, maybe he'll just have to see what familiar person is amiable to climbing, too. ]
( b. that falls softly on the meadow; )
[ She hadn't really noticed any changes to her hair at first; it was already long and heavy and she was accustomed to dealing with the burden of it, but her usual braids to deal with it just aren't holding. And while she'd normally just try to manage it without necessarily thinking to inquire about extra assistance, her hair's... gotten caught. On something. This is actually awful? An unexpected tangling is not something to teleport away from.
Of course she's still not necessarily... asking... for help, but she does look like she's having some trouble, whether her hair was caught on a doorway or an errant new tree branch that hadn't been a factor before. ]
( c. birds high up in the trees; )
[ Or perhaps someone might realize another travesty; all that white hair and no flowers in it? Really? Maybe they would like to make a suggestion.
It's... hardly an immediate thought for her, even if she seems more distracted than not by the notion and the festivities and their vague discomfiting nostalgia. ]
( d. serenade the flowers with their melodies; )
[ Wildcard; catch her on weekends at Affurgato, maybe your character wants a nice snack and a breather from the weather or to play with cats. Or ask about anything else here! ]
B
[Touma couldn't help himself from cringing at the sight of how badly she managed to get her white hair tangled onto the tree branch. He knows, unfortunately, from personal experience thanks to his own newly grown, stupidly long hair how god-awful it was to get it snagged onto something. As someone well acquainted with misfortune, there was no way he could stand idly by while someone in front of him was suffering a similar fate.
Brushing his long bangs away from his face, he walks over to the white-haired woman and starts the meticulous act of untangling her from her predicament.]
Hold still. Let me try to untangle you before it gets any worse.

[While Prompto is happy to help relocate the new growth sprouting up all over towns, he can't resist stopping - frequently - to take photos of any of the more unusual locations where plants have sprung up.
So maybe he's doing what he's supposed to, and carefully transporting a plant to its new home. Or maybe, and more likely, he's laying in the dirt with his focus on a flower.]
[ Hold my flower ]
[He loves the idea of a flower festival, and once he gets the hang of weaving flower crowns, watch out! He's going to want to practice on everyone who will sit still long enough. Please let him.
The only drawback here: While he tries to take good care of his hair, it's never been especially long, so he's at something of a loss when it starts growing at an alarming rate. He keeps it brushed, but any attempts to tie it back end up in a mess of tangles.
Though wearing loose... it's kinda metal... isn't it?]

Sasuke Sarutobi | Sengoku Basara (Diacht)
Prompt I: Let the rain fall down, two prompt ideas in one
[ When the flowers, saplings, and foliage starts to burst forth, Sasuke is right out there with them. It's about time this city had some greenery in it. So when the locals ask for help to preserve the plants and place them into more suitable locations, Sasuke readily agrees.
He's either helping with shadow clones to transplant as many plants as possible...
Or he's huddled in a shadow, looking weak, exhausted, and confused. Everything he has (or hasn't) been doing has caught up to him. ]
Prompt II: Hold my flower
[ Sasuke takes the next few days easy and leisurely walks in the rain, still admiring the nature blooming along the streets. The rain has the strangest effect on Sasuke's hair. The hair grows longer like anyone else's, but there is a shocking change of color at his roots. The ruddy brown becomes almost like a fiery sunset or autumn leaves or a fox's coat.
(Just like how CAPCOM can't decide his hair color from bright orange to dull brown)Sasuke normally dyes his hair darker. He'd stand out too much in the forest otherwise. He tries to seem causal about it, but he's really embarrassed. ]
Do you know where I could get some dye or stain?

Zenitsu Agatsuma | Kimetsu no Yaiba | Diacht
[ Plants were probably one of the few things that Zenitsu wouldn't get so scared as easily. They don't necessarily suddenly move and try to kill you, per say, at least not in the world he's from.
But yes, "were." No matter what, plants shouldn't be growing as fast as they are currently. So when Zenitsu sees the plants sprout all of the sudden he gets super wary about everything around him, and almost considers just shutting himself in his own room at home when the robots started requesting assistance to relocate the plants.
But in the end, Zenitsu ends up helping out and he's found in various places in the city trying to relocate plants growing in the weirdest places while whining (and maybe even crying) about it. ]
Ugh, how are these plants growing here of all places?! Did someone go around town throwing seeds everywhere or something?!
[ II ]
[ Zenitsu likes flowers. They're pretty to look at and there's so many different variations, and he always enjoyed picking flowers for Nezuko during days where neither him or his friends had missions back at home. Remembering things about Nezuko always put Zenitsu into a cheerful(?) mood, and he'd be giggling to himself as he works on the flower weaving.
With helping out the flower relocation, Zenitsu's uneven blond hair's been growing out rapidly as well. If he's not distracted thinking about "the love of his life" (it's one-sided), he'd be freaking out about his own hair. He's a busy man with having a storm of emotions. ]
[ III ]
[ Zenitsu's a lonely kid. Any chance he can get where he's interacting with other people and new friends(?) he's made, he will take the opportunity. However, video games haven't been invented in his time. At most it would be either card or board games, and it would also be particular ones at that.
Zenitsu's at the VR cafe, curiously (with some usual taste of fear) looking at the new game. A game where you can actually become a hero? Sign him up! But he had no clue where to even start.
If he notices you, he'll edge towards you awkwardly. ]
Uhm, do you wanna play the new game with me? I wanna try but I dunno how this works...

III
People play games here?

Edmund Pevensie | Chronicles of Narnia | Ohma
[Edmund is incredibly pleased by the sudden rush of both plants and earth and rain. It's refreshing in so many ways. The first time he wakes to the steady thrum of rain on his window he runs outside in his pajamas and simply basks in it.
When the sun is out at midday, sunshowers rushing over the city, he's all too eager to help replant things, cooing at flowers and ferns alike.]
Come now, we'll find you somewhere far more comfortable, I assure you. Mustn't let you be trod upon.
Ib: Some people just get wet.
[As the rain continues, however, there are many times that he finds himself bundled into a cloak far to large for him, the heavy leather folded over and rolled at his neck to keep it snug around him. It's warm against the chill of rain and the bite of wind that hasn't quite caught up with the fact that it's spring. Early mornings and late evenings leaving the boy miserable and sulky.]
Ic. If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.
[Replanting is fun! Edmund is a wreck, sleeves of his button down rolled up, suspenders shrugged off and dangling around his hips, he's even barefoot, pant legs rolled up as well. He usually favors Narnian style clothes but what he's wearing during the replanting is 100% London. The more tailored fit is much easier to work with and he's not so foolish as to run around shirtless like his brother. Barbarian indeed.
It's when he's in the entertainment district that he sees it. At first it's just a flash of blazing red out of the corner of his eye. He backtracks a few steps, turning to stare down the side street behind what might have once been a theater? Whatever it is (or was) doesn't matter nearly so much as the massive red mum all but glowing in the afternoon sun, arching dangerously out of an unused gutter.
It's a beautiful flower and he absolutely must rescue it. Getting further down the alley, though, the scent of the flower makes it's way to him and he stops still, eyes going wide. No, it can't be... but it is. It really truly is. He rushes back to the street, desperately looking for someone taller or perhaps with wings or magic or- someone.]
Hello?! Please, it's frightfully important.
II. The Earth laughs in flowers.
[With the sudden rush of flowers come the perfect young shoots and vines for the dark haired boy to weave into delicate crowns. It's a skill not unlike that used for weaving baskets and it is something he is well acquainted with. Crowns like these are common place at the spring festivals at Dancing Lawn.
This is far too early, Dancing Lawn isn't warm enough for such festivities until May to be sure. But It has been two years since he was able to do this and he finds himself humming bright Narnian dancing tunes as he weaves, little piles of different colors of flowers scattered around him.]
((OOC: feel free to throw some wild card options at me if you'd like or hit me up on discord @ Sierra#7666 or
Ib with some II thrown in
At least, he was pretty sure it was his brother. The figure was huddled under his cloak, the heavy leather far too large for such a small body. He couldn't see the occasional shivers, but he knew they'd be there. He'd seen them before, except here there was no fireplace to stoke.
Instead, he quietly slipped past the huddled form, heading upstairs. He was gone for several minutes, taking his time to make sure everything was right before he returned.]
Come on, Brother. I've got something for you.
[Which was the only warning Edmund got before Peter was unwrapping him from his cloak and scooping him up against the warmth of his chest.]

Mitsuri Kanroji | Kimetsu no Yaiba | Ainea | OTA!
[Mitsuri has gotten her hands on a very pink, very cute umbrella to keep herself from getting drenched in the sudden downpour. When she has to go out, she can be seen very easily, due to the bright color of her umbrella. And also due to the fact that she keeps splashing in puddles like a child. Which means that the umbrella is pretty pointless, but come on! Playing in puddles is just too tempting sometimes!]
two. After The Rain
[Anyone helping with the relocating of the plants will see Mitsuri pretty regularly, happily seeing plants to their new homes.
The odd thing about it is that any time she is escorting plants, she essentially has a pallet loaded up with dozens of plants, which she carries one-handed with ease, smiling like it's not even an effort. And she's stopping to pick up more any time she sees someone struggling too.]
three. Flower Power!
[Seeing the robot people handing woven flower gifts around has touched Mitsuri's heart so much that she has woven about a dozen flower crowns with... no one to really give them to.
Determined to give them out, she has set herself up just outside of the communal housing with all her flower crowns and tons more flowers nearby.]
I have lots of flowers~ I'll be happy to braid them into you hair. Like this, see?
[She'll be showcasing her own hair, which she has braided a bunch of pastel pink, green, and blue flowers into. Because why not! She will braid hair for anyone, and will even do different styles of braids if wanted~]

Peter Pevensie | Chronicles of Narnia | ota
[Peter loved rain. He loved the sound of it, the smell of it, the feel of it on his skin. He loved walking in it and even training in it, though that usually ended up with far more injury than was necessary. He loved standing outside, face up to the sky so he could catch drops on his tongue. At home, in Cair Paravel, those drops would be oh so slightly salty from wind spray, but he still loved it. Here was no different.
Well, it was a little different if only because at home plants didn't magically emerge, but that was more of a bonus than something to complain about. Right? Except for the occasional plant that sprouted in the middle of a walkway. Or an awning. Or a rooftop. Or....
Actually, this could get treacherous.
So it came to be that Peter could be found kneeling, the knees of his jeans stained and simple shirt doing very little to protect him from the falling rain. Not that it was bothering him, as he was far too focused on gently easing away dirt so he could see the span of roots before he started to really work the little plant free.]
Easy now, little one. I know, I know. My hands are far too clumsy for your liking, but I promise to not drop you. There you are...
Ib: Where Lions are concerned, silence never means absence.
[It was a rumble of thunder. At least, that was what Peter told himself. A simple rumble of thunder and not at all the gentle rumble of a Lion playing games. Thunder was a normal thing to happen during the rain. It was even more normal in a world with a perpetual storm going on outside of their little haven.
So why did the little hairs at the nape of his neck stand on end every time it happened?
Another rumble of thunder-
(a deep, rumbling exhale)
-and Peter turned without a thought, following the sound. He let his feet take him where they would, where the tingles in his fingers and down his spine lead them. His pace picked up with every rumble until he was finally jogging along in a lope, completely lost and not caring at all in the slightest. If there was one person from his home that he had faith could reach them in this place, it was Aslan.
Except, it wasn't. He turned a blind corner with enough speed to skid a little in the wet, but there was no Lion to greet him. No fond smile or gentle head bump. Just a brick wall. The dead end of an ally lost to a city that had been all but dead. He stood there, breathing a little hard, confusion written on his face. He was about to turn around and try to find his way back when the clouds over head shifted and the dim dead end was brightened by a wayward streak of sunlight and Peter's lips parted in an almost silent gasp.
There, emerging from a crack in what Peter had learned was 'asphalt', was an apple tree.]
Ic: Every act of creation is first an act of destruction.
[The tree was rapidly outgrowing the trash bin that Peter had found to move it in. Each morning, he'd come out to check on it and it would be taller and thicker, it's roots making the metal of the bin dent out oh so slightly. Soon, it would be too big to carry. After that, the bin would kill it.
Peter refused to let that happen.
The building next to theirs had been crumbling when they'd first arrived, but with the rain and the unexpected surge of growth in the ground, it had finally given up it's fight and laid down what was left of it's bones. It wasn't repairable, wasn't useful...and the locals hadn't denied his idea. In fact, they seemed to enjoy it a great deal, even offering to bring a construction dumpster to help him.
Which is how one might find Peter Pevensie shirtless and hauling rubble from what used to be a house. His hair was pulled back in a tight french braid that kept it out of the way as he worked, soaked as it was. He had a pick-axe and willpower and by Aslan, that foundation was going to end up in that dumpster.
He needed to plant his tree.]
1c;
Then she strode in, all four feet of little girl ready to provide assistance.]
Um, hello. [No, come on, you could be a little louder couldn't you?]
...Hello. Would you like some help?

Labrador | 07-Ghost
Labrador, being a gardener and basically a God of Flowers, is completely in his element right now. He sings quietly to himself as he works on relocating the more unfortunate plants and flowers, removing them with practiced ease into baskets being held by vines that swirl slowly round him. He occasionally pauses in his singing to talk to... someone or something. Then he laughs softly at a funny joke that only he seems to hear. He is talking to the plants, of course, for he is able to communicate with them! And the plants around him sway gently in response to him, even in the absence of any breeze.
Prompt 2.1
Just when Labrador thought he couldn't feel more at home, there's a flower festival! He's no stranger to weaving flower crowns and is more than happy to help, so he soon has quite a pile of flower crowns beside him. Now he just has to help hand them out and he's decided to hand one to you.
"Good day! Would you fancy a crown of flowers?"
Prompt 2.2
It's been a long long while since Labrador had long hair. He'd cut it years ago as he was tired of being constantly mistaken for a girl, yet here he is now with long soft purple hair tumbling down his back, sweeping the floor!
Even when his hair was long, it was never like this... so he's at a lost for what to do with all this hair. He's tried cutting it several times but it just grew back longer and longer each time...
So now as he walks down the street, his hair drags on the floor behind him, even though he's already coiled it round his neck. Try not to step on his hair, please?

[Now, this is a strange occurrence. Guzma woke up, much later in the day, to the sound of rain hissing softly against the glass of his window. It’s not an unwelcome sight – in fact, he’s so accustomed to the sound, smell, and feel of rain from the constant deluge that hammers into Po Town day in and day out...that this makes him feel almost relaxed. Despite himself, he keeps the windows of his little two bedroom townhome open, laying down towels where the rain would hit the floors to soak it up. His Pokémon, Golisopod, may be hanging around outside the building – still as a statue as he sits and meditates under the fall of the rain. He looks...intimidating, slightly, but peaceful and watchful – something like a gargoyle guarding an old manor home. A gentle giant. Quiet, stoic, scary only on the outside.
Guzma, on the other hand, is inside, preparing breakfast for himself and his Pokémon (the other two not enjoying water quite as much as Golisopod, what with being part water type). Guzma is humming a bit, a smooth melody as he sways left and right and heads out into the rain to lay down a bowl of food for Golisopod. He gets soaked, absolutely, but it’s nothing he hasn’t experienced before. It actually feels good, and he’ll warm up with a shower later.]
Yo, dude, food’s ready. You coming? [He blinks, as Golisopod doesn’t move except to rumble quietly, moving one of its large arms around...something.] Hey, hey--! What’cha got there?
[If Golisopod took something from someone, he’ll never hear the end of it. But no. Instead, its massive, clawed arms are wrapped about a little sapling. Noticeably, a sapling with berries on it. Berries that Guzma recognizes, though they’re terribly small, and not ripe in the slightest. Sitrus Berries.]
Wha--? No way. [Does he have planters? No, but Guzma is a man of innovation.] Yo, Scizor!! Bring me a pot, yeah? A big one!!
---
ii. Are You Not Entertained?
[Now this is the sort of VR that Guzma was looking for! A plot, gameplay that actually had a purpose, and violence? By god, he's all over this. Not one for MMOs, unless he knows the people playing with, but he's ready and willing to play with anyone that's willing to take him with. Of course, Guzma is a knight, because there's no other class he could be that isn't built to take hits as well as deliver them with a vengeance. Though, because aesthetic plays a big part in his...everything, Guzma of course opted for a less traditional, gallant, heroic look and instead...w-well.
Look. He has an image to maintain, okay? Let him have this.
Though he is scrutinizing the sword a bit as he lifts it and plays with it in his hands a bit. Could this thing be any larger? Mother of Mew, it's so gaudy...and where the hell is the point? Is he supposed to club someone with it? I mean, not something he's against, but swords are meant for the good ol' stabbins, he thought.]
Man, I could prob'ly DIY one'a these if I just hot glue gunned a Steelix to a two-by-four and spray painted it black... [And, a bit more quietly, as he inspects himself over his shoulder.] This ding-dang cotton catsuit better not ride up - it's chafing something fierce already, dang.
i
But then he sees... the largest bug. Like, so large, he isn't sure what it is at first. But as he stands there, staring at it with wide, almost catlike eyes, he's sure. This is some sort of huge bug. At which point he's remaining still more because he's encountered a large animal and is trying to gauge what to do about it. Watches it almost contemplatively grab at one of the newly sprouted plants.
It's just when his hand is slowly starting to move to his rifle slung over his shoulder that Guzma comes out, starts talking to the creature like it's a welcome part of the scenery. No, more like. A pet? It's very strange. Strange enough that Ogata's curiosity overwhelms his general relucatance to talk to others. So he trots a bit closer.]
What... is that thing you're talking to?

Tamaki Yotsuba [Diacht] OTA
Oh, huh! Who would have thought that the robots had traditions like this...? An interesting holdover to unearth from their more organic days, he'd guess! While perhaps not the most common, it's not that unlike the kinds of things that might be found on the Earth he came from, so seeing things like flower crowns and flowers woven into peoples' hair is an interesting familiarity.
Under the tutelage of the robots, Tamaki's making some fairly decent looking crowns out of the flowers! If he happens to spot anyone he knows while he's working, he'll call out and wave them down,
"Hey! You want some flowers?"
One of the crowns he's already made? Or he could even concoct a brand new one, just for you! Or! If your hair is nice and long, he might even just start weaving those flowers right in. His own hair seems to have a good handful of inches added to it, too, and while he's busy working, he keeps it tied back and out of the way.
But it's also prime flower real estate for anyone who wants to play around with it instead.
III
Now this! Is his kind of video game!!
Do you need an extra knight for your party? Because Tamaki's spending a lot of time in the VR cafe once this new game goes up, so the chances of him ending up with anyone else playing the game is nice and high.
"Come on, let's get going!"
The idea here is buffs and such through contact, right? Alongside a sunny, excited grin, he offers out his hand for whoever he's ended up partying with. Onward! To adventure!!

CIEL PHANTOMHIVE | OTA
[At first, when it starts, Ciel doesn't have an umbrella with him for awhile. When it occurs to him that this is going to be a regular occurrence, he does invest in an umbrella.
Unfortunately, he's not the best at remembering to take it with him ever time he leaves home. So there are a few days that some people may find him ducking from place to place to, vainly, avoid getting soaked through.
Otherwise, he wanders around a lot more once plants begin to grow in earnest. And he's surprisingly excited when he spots a familiar looking rose bush. This level of excitement isn't one most people normally get to see from the teenager. And when he hears that the plants can be relocated, that they're being asked to help, he immediately starts working to ensure this fragile little bush of Sterling Roses is brought to where he and Undertaker call home.
He doesn't even care that he's misplaced his umbrella. It's a piece of home he hadn't thought to miss.]
II - HOLD MY FLOWERS
[Would anyone believe that the stuffy and sometimes pompous earl of Phantomhive knows how to make flower crowns?
Well, he does. And that's all thanks to having Lizzie in his life and his twin, and the few times as a child where he'd been well enough to play outside for extended periods. He and his brother frequently made them for each other when they were very small. Their hair had been kept short, properly groomed, back then though. His hair now was much longer, a little thing for himself more than anything. To show he's not the same as he was in England.
There are a few around him, finished, and one special one with a sterling rose set in it.
Would anyone like any of the bunch he's made so far?]
III - VIDYA GAEMS
[While the rules and plot of the game are going to take some adjustment for him- it's very different from the games they've had in previous months and worlds away from anything he played in England- he's determined to try it.
And he's determined to try to get better about the physical contact asked of them by the gods ever since he saw Magolor's report.
But when anyone joins up on his game, they'll find him waffling between archer and thief. Yeah, he's still that early in.]

[ When the robots first told him they're suppose to rescue flowers, he immediately jumps right into helping them as much as he could. Tanjiro relocates every plant he could find in strange places and try to replant them in the correct places. However, he also soon notices that these flowers aren't going away so soon, if anything, there's a ridiculous abundance of them. He's honestly not sure if there would be anymore space in the public gardens.
Which gives him an idea. He knocks on a random door, and if the person decides to open the door they're greeted with Tanjiro's determined face. ]
Excuse me, do you have anything I could use a temporary pot? I'm going to take these flowers home. [ He points to a nearby sidewalk with wild flowers sprouting out of it. ] I'm willing to pay in compensation.
IIa
[ He used to have long hair, he hadn't mind it when he was younger. Maybe, in a way, he half expected his hair to grow out until they were as long as his father's had been. But things changed and Tanjiro felt like leaving that particular part of him behind, and so since then he had generally keep his hair short.
And he's very adamant about keeping it short. For the past few days since the rain has started, people might take notice that his hair seems to be cut off in odd lengths, sometimes even just hazardously chopped off in frustration.
Or perhaps you might see him at breaking point, in a fit of frustration, sitting in a public bench with his nichirin blade out as he cuts his own hair in public. ]
I really hope that's the last time I'll have to cut my hair in a while.
[ Likely not. ]
IIb
[ Eventually, Tanjiro does give up on the idea of cutting his hair. For now, he pulls it up to a neat high ponytail, but he doesn't seem too comfortable about it that his usual smile seems a bit strained.
The robots mention something about flower crowns however and while he isn't sure how to weave them in his own hair, he gladly partakes in making flower crowns for others. His hands are careful as they construct one crown to the next. Though his choices are rather monotonous, he generally opts for geraniums, hyacinths and lilies, all in colors of pink. Once he's done, he holds out to the nearest person. ]

holding flowers; locked to kaito
But there was someone in her life who unquestionably deserved an unending stream of treats. Several someones, actually.
So today Kyoko was flitting around Rawna's temple, long black hair a flag behind her, endeavoring to deliver a tiny square of plain cake to every fledgling that would entertain the attempt. "Come on--wait--please accept my offeringggs!"
no subject
They just didn't always know it was a treat that was chasing them. One such good childe was skittering right past Kaito's feet as he sat out on the temple steps. He watched it go with mild amusement as he rifled through the basket of flowers next to him. There were just a few last touches the flower crown in his other hand needed. They could hold off though, because it seemed like the fledgling wasn't the only one skittering around.
"The bold and direct approach not working this time?"
