Super Romantic Perfect Date Time!

[Keith has been planning for this date for weeks now. When he couldn’t come up with anything on his own, he’d turned to the others on Havenwell, and had gotten some solid advice. It was hard to pick just one thing to do, so instead, he decided to go with all of the ideas at once.

With one exception.

After some investigating, Keith has discovered that it is possible to create a custom scenario using the VR technology. Perfect. He had sent Lance out of the house while he prepares that, then heads to the VR station to perfect the scene he wants for his boyfriend. Hopefully it won’t make him too homesick. Keith is terrible at dealing with tears.

He sends Lance a quick message, telling him to meet him at the VR station, and waits nervously, clutching a bundle of flowers behind his back.]

I.. don't know. Just bring me with you? [He rubs the back of his head, shy.]

Okay. Come out a little deeper with me.

[Lance takes him by the hand, gently tugging him along until they're chest high in the water.]

[Keith nods and takes a breath, following after Lance as they move deeper.]

The water feels nice. Is it really like this?

[the_tailor]

Yeah...it is. Well, every ocean and beach is different, but this is kind of the ideal temperature. Not too chilly, not too warm... Just...cool.

[He smiles, making sure he's okay.]

[Keith nods.] I um... I didn't really know what it was actually like, so I sort of guessed. I hope I did okay.

[the_tailor]

You did an amazing job, Keith.

[He leans in, pressing their lips together gently.]

Seriously, I just... I can't believe this all.

[Keith turns a little pink, enjoying that soft kiss.] I knew I needed to do something big for you. I'm just glad part one is going so well.

[the_tailor]

Part one?

[He hums, raising an eyebrow.]

Now I'm curious about the rest.

[needmyspace]

[That makes him grin, watching him. He knows Lance is wondering.]

You'll have to find out.

[the_tailor]

Right. Sooooo... Let's swim for a bit, maybe lay down in the sun for a little while, then continue your grand plans?

I don't know how grand they are, but yeah, sure. Whatever you want to do.

[the_tailor]

[And so they do. Keith isn't a bad swimmer after all--he just needed to be cajoled out into the water. After a good deal of swimming, splashing around, and tackling each other underneath the water, the two paladins make their way back to the shore. There's a large towel spread out on the sand, which is pretty awesome, and Lance smiles as he flops down and rolls onto his back.]

Ah man, I missed this...

[Once Keith finally lets go of his anxiety and lets himself have fun, he has a great time. He's panting softly as they head back up onto the sand, watching Lance flop down and chuckling.]

You know what the best part of this is? [He lays down beside him and stretches out comfortably.] No sunburn.

Ooh, nice. I don't burn easily, but I bet you do. It'd kind of be funny to see you look like a lobster, though.

[He grins, reaching over to poke his cheek.]
