♥ Who: Goro Akechi + Willpower Estate (AKA housemates) + YOU!!!
♥ Where: Various!
♥ When: All throughout the month (for housemates) and then post-party
♥ What: Stupidity
♥ Rating: PG-13+
♥ Note: While I'm typing the post in prose form, I welcome both styles!
Willpower Estate
(CLOSED to housemates - Akira, Will, Kei... though, LBR, Ib is welcome, too)
For the most part, Goro Akechi is an easy enough person to get along with, when it comes to him as a housemate. He keeps to himself, cleans up his own messes (and, where applicable, the messes of others), and he's quiet. Sometimes, it might even be possible to forget he's even here; living in a microapartment within a big city has taught him how to seem invisible to his neighbors. Japan is all about keeping to oneself.
Usually.
It's been a very long time since he's woken up with a shout, but... that's what's happening early in the month. Maybe the stress of a new world is to blame. Maybe it's just that he's going to bed with too much on his mind. Or, as Akechi would say, maybe he should just stop being so weak. Either way... after waking up in that way, he's going to be spending some time in the living room.
Feel free to find him just sitting on the couch, a cup of hot soda in his hand. Gross.
~*~
Throughout the month, Akechi will be doing small things, here and there, to liven the place up. He will do his part in taking care of the Pokémon, the best he knows how (which isn't... saying much, sadly). Housemates will be finding various decorative items (it's mostly junk he's turning into decorations, probably) appearing, at random. Akechi is always discreet in adding them, but people are free to catch him adding stuff to their household.
Or, if they don't like red and/or sparkly, they're free to remove things! It's not like it's anything more than random stuff he's collecting while helping clean up around this place.
Additionally, there's going to be an attempt, by him, at setting up a day and time for house meetings? How's everyone feel about that...
Stupidity
It is time! Time for them to go against everything they've been told, and try to see just what's outside these fucking walls. Because fuck thepolice rules? Fuck the police rules. And, once they're at the wall, Akechi is releasing a long sigh, looking over to his housemate. He doesn't want to make the younger teen uncomfortable, but he doesn't want to risk him getting hurt over something so stupid as this. So, he's hesitating, his voice coming out quiet once he does speak.
"... Are you... comfortable with me casting a protective spell over you, just in case?"

House Mingling
Re: House Mingling
in spite of not being one[Will's not a bad housemate, at least in the conventional sense. He's a tidy person, he's cheerful and agreeable, he's social, there's no rent to pay, he's willing to pitch in on the chores..... hell, he even cooks with the ingredients the replicator provides, however odd they may be. It may take him a bit of time to learn the appropriate amount to cook, to feed two Wildcards, an athletic teenage boy, and himself--but he'll get there!
Slightly less desirable may be just how friendly, cheerful, social, and helpful he is. He likes hanging out and chatting with everyone! He likes getting cozy and touchy too, if he's not rebuffed. Then again, he also likes doing dumb, ridiculous stuff like twirling around the kitchen singing into a serving spoon, too. And his taste is certainly..... questionable, as well; he's proudly displaying all the mysteriously appearing, gaudy, shiny baubles he's been gifted in his room, as well.
And then, of course, there are the other "housemates" that come with him. Flareon is every bit the bratty, dramatic, needy, affectionate, adorable diva--whether that's trying to get attention and petting, food, (in spite of already being fed, naturally) or play time, she's an energetic presence in the household. Chansey is less vocal about her presence, but a common sight nonetheless, often nearby to lend a paw with tasks or comfort someone who's having a rough time. (Or snag a cup of coffee from the pot you just brewed.) Just don't let her catch you being bad at self-care--as sweet as she is, she has very little patience for Dumb Boys Being Dumb, and will absolutely turn on the Bossy Sassmaster Mode, even if you can't understand her. Xatu is often present but easily overlooked, with her tendency to remain quiet and still as she watches over everyone. If you're lucky, (and respectful, and don't mind telepathy) she might even be willing to talk with you a little--but even if she's too reserved to chat, it's not uncommon for her to do things like gently straighten your collar or preen stray bits of hair into place.]
Spooky Scary Nightmares
[Thankfully, their bedrooms are probably far enough away that Will won't be woken up by a jolt of alien terror flooding his mind. Instead, he's woken up by the sound of a shout, and jolts upright in bed in groggy alarm. There's no further commotion, though, no sounds of a struggle, no screaming or sobbing..... Probably nothing immediately dangerous, then. Ugh, what ungodly hour of the morning is it, even?
Will blearily pads out to the living room in soft blue pajamas, hair a fluffy mess sticking out every which way, covering his mouth as he yawns--yet even so, his mask is still on, just as straight and secure as ever.]
What's the matter?
[Will doesn't bother asking if Akechi's okay. He's obviously not, and giving him the option to backpedal means the odds of him taking that option are at least 99%.]
even WILDER card
and, perhaps... in part due to his patient housemates, but... there's still some anxiety and wariness lingering. It's just enough to make him a little less careful than he usually is.
The knock he gives the bathroom door sounds loud to his ears, but maybe that's overstimulation talking? Either way, when he doesn't hear a response, he assumes it's free to use and opens the door without any further warning.]
no subject
Compared to how primly covered Will usually is, (his fancy clothes don't show even a hint of skin from the neck down, and even more casual clothes aren't much better) perhaps it's jarring just how exposed he is now. There's nothing but a towel tied around his waist, and another he's drying his hair with (no wonder he hadn't heard the knock) to protect him from view. He's just as pale and petite as Kei might expect, though there's more muscle definition than his build might suggest, and a few scars here and there. But what trainer doesn't earn a few scars on their journey, right?
There's nothing wrong with his face at all. That much is clear, as Will whirls around at the sound of the door opening. Fine features, soft purple eyes, nothing that should need to be hidden--yet there's a flash of naked terror in his eyes as he realizes he's been spotted, even so.]

Kei's opening his mouth to apologize on instinct, but things happen so quickly that he doesn't even get the words out before he's violently distracted.
First, by the sheer terror in Will's eyes. It's so raw and genuine, it halts Kei's breath.
And then, the slam of panic.
His eyes widen, and he intakes a shaky breath, hand coming up to grasp at his chest, which suddenly feels as tight as a straitjacket.]
Will...!
[Shit... what the hell...
He swallows thickly, glances to the man, then backpedals and closes the door behind him.
Where's— his pokémon? Xatu— she probably knows what's going on. Maybe she can calm him..?]
D-deja?
[His voice wavers, but he hopes its loud enough to be heard.]

this is becoming a trend
Ah... I... wasn't aware anyone else was awake...
[ There's some very real hesitance here. He looks away, awkwardly brushing a hand through his hair. His voice is so quiet, it's likely only thanks to the still of the night that Will has an easy chance at hearing him: ]
Did... I wake you?
/shoves you back in bed
[Will waves a hand reassuringly. Don't worry, Akechi, he doesn't mind getting up for a bit. He pads over to join Akechi on the couch, sniffing a little in surprise--soda, at this hour? Wouldn't milk be more appropriate?
Well, maybe not, if Akechi plans to stay awake for a bit. He draws his legs under him to curl up cozily in the corner of the couch. Nice deflection, Akechi, but Will's not feeling like accepting one at like 2 AM. Talking about whatever it is might just make you feel better.]
So?
you shoved too hard, clearly
We should... probably look into fixing that thing.
[ It's clear he isn't exactly jumping to talk about why he's up... ]
To... tell you the truth, I don't remember what it's like to sleep soundly through the night.
Sorry not sorry at all

wild! card!
Of course, before breakfast, however, is going to come coffee, and where there is coffee, there is sometimes the Chansey. She's honestly a welcome sight, frankly, and Akira's started making sure there's a cup of coffee especially for her whenever he makes some.
Like right this very moment, even.]
Here you are, Arete. [Although, after a moment, he'll be calling to Will if the man's already up.] Will-san, there's coffee!
Re: wild! card!
Oh, thank you!
[Arete chirps happily at Akira as she accepts her mug, face vanishing behind it immediately. Will's not far behind her, already showered and dressed for the day. Morning person that he is, he doesn't really need coffee to start his day--even so, it's a nice pick me up.]
Getting an early start today?

[He snorts lightly as he moves out of the way so Will can help himself.]
Even as long as it's been since we've been here, it's been nice to have a real bed. I'm still not entirely used to it, I guess.

He does his best to be a good housemate--he volunteers to cook fairly frequently, keeps his space clean, is willing to clean other places in the house and do chores, take care of the Pokemon to the best of his ability (he's learning)... he's usually volunteering to make sure anyone who wants coffee in the mornings gets it.
(Incidentally, he absolutely adores the various decorations that Akechi's added.)
He's a relatively quiet presence in the household, and maybe not quite the touchiest, but that's probably on account of him not having the history with Kei and Will that he does with Akechi. He's certainly not opposed to socializing, though! Come talk to him whenever he's working! If anyone looks like they need it, he's there with a drink and an offer of someone to talk to.]

He's setting the mask in his lap before quietly fidgeting with it, expression softened in the way that implies he's deep in thought. ]

What's up?
no subject
Coffee!!
He brightens immediately, taking the cup into both hands. It isn't Leblanc, but it's made by Akira, so... it will be the best of what's here, at the very least. ]
Thank you.
[ There's a brief pause as he takes a sip, and then- ]
Hm?

A Touch of Idiocy
Ah... yeah. He doesn't think about these things since he's from a completely mundane world. Immediately, a bit of frustration reflects in his gaze before he smooths it away.
"I don't mind."
Now isn't the time to brood about his own lack of being able to contribute. It's about focusing on what he can— using observation skills and intellect to come to the most accurate conclusion.
A Smidge of Questionable Decision Making (risk of P5 spoilers from here on out)
Before getting his Persona - and even just... outside of the Metaverse, before coming here - he never thought much about using powers. He's still not entirely used to having access to his Persona at all times. But... he nods at that response, having noted the frustration.
"You'll feel stronger, faster, and more durable... but try not to do anything reckless. I don't... have the ability to turn food and drink into healing items, anymore."
There's a tiny bit of frustration flaring, but he's taking a deep breath and stepping a couple of steps back. He closes his eyes, pressing his fingers to his forehead.
"Come-"
Suddenly, there's a black mask forming around his head, his clothing shifting to... this.
"Heat Riser!" Then, after some consideration: "Tetrakarn!"
With that, he nods. There's a dim smile as he gives a soft sigh, looking to the side. It would seem he's briefly slipping into thought... don't mind him...
An Idea That May Or May Not Be A Bad One
Confused as he is, he only nods in response.
...ah.
Well, that whole sequence is um—
It's impressive, there's no doubt about it, just...
"That's quite an outfit."
—oh.
And he suddenly feels it... that intense swell of power. He inhales, then lets out a slow breath. He definitely feels... powerful, to some extent, though he knows he likely still can't compare to the teen next to him.
It's a novel feeling.
He glances to Akechi, gaze lingering for just a moment, before he looks back to the wall.
"I hope you're not getting cold feet now."
It's not so much a jeer, so much as it... seems, perhaps, to be some attempt at a joke?
84 years later . . .
"It..."
There's the touch of something wry ghosting over his lips. He shakes his head. There's a soft sigh as he gives a small wave of one hand - something dismissive.
"Think of it as the representation of my inner rebel," he starts, somewhat quietly, "They're called Personas."
But, then... he relaxes a tiny bit, after taking a deep breath. That joke seems to have... helped??? He gives the faintest hint of a smirk in response, tilting his head at Kei, ever-so-slightly.
"Hmmm... Would you judge me if I did?"
With that, he starts towards the wall.
no subject
There's a soft scoff at the words.
"You mean after making a plan, coming all the way out here and buffing me?" He gives Goro a smirk that almost seems playful. "Now why would I do that?"
He gives a small hop in place, gauging his current abilities.

Post-Idiocy
For a moment, his gaze rests on the floor, and then he glances to Akira's bedroom...
... then, he looks to his own.
Why does he feel so- torn... on where to go next? Why is he actually worried? The hell are these feelings...? ]
no subject
The moment Akira heard movement in the house that wasn't Will or his Pokemon again, he finally emerges from his bedroom...
... and frankly, he's kind of a mess. His movements are kind of shaky and it's apparent he hasn't really slept.]
You're--you're back... oh thank god...
[He hates how small his voice sounds.]
no subject
Akechi's eyes widen, and he momentarily looks like what some might compare to a kid that just got caught sneaking back in after some wild party. He freezes up a bit, looking... confused? ]
Oh...
[ He swallows thickly. ]
You're... awake already?
no subject
I... um... didn't really sleep. Where... [He shifts uncomfortably.] Where were you...?
