Kyoko's pretty occupied with hacking up a lung, so there isn't much time to contemplate whether she should recoil from his touch or something. Which is good, because that would be a really weird and rude thing to do.

It's also good because those pats actually do help a lot, it seems. After a few moments, the coughing eases enough that Kyoko can gasp and wheeze and look up at Tamaki meekly.
