[Something . . . had happened there. Magolor can't see her face right now, and neither can he imagine why that had hit her just like that. He's a little taken aback. Maybe she hadn't had friends before—well, he can understand that, if so. And there are times that the feeling of having them now is overwhelming for him too, and so he just holds it back and pushes it away until he can tolerate it again. But she isn't that sort of girl. She's a good person, and definitely . . . absolutely a good friend. It's easier for him to embrace that when he's feeling this way, too.

So he just leans on her with a little hum.]
