[ There is a duality in her gaze Pyra has not seen before: distant yet clear and bright.. She knows what she must do, and that is to return to her mother to act as both envoy and sentinel of the goddess. The clearness in her bright eyes is derived from duty and path that has been laid out for her, perhaps since birth, perhaps even before then. The distance, the weight, the longing look comes from knowing that it comes second to what lies in her heart.
