The most riveting log post ever
♥ Who: The Knight
♥ Where: Somewhere in the city
♥ When: After the worms
♥ What: Sittin'
♥ Rating: Rated Bug for Bug
[Once things had settled down, while the bug had gotten some room accommodations they still spent most of their time outside. It felt weird getting used having their own space and all. They had this nice and comfy bed, and yet, they come to this metal bench they found.]
[It was...a bit beaten up from the worm attacks too. But it's fine. They found some leaves and other stuff nearby to make it a little more comfortable. Enough so that they could sit down and check over some notes they wrote down...stuff they had learned about this world and all that, and probably barely legible to everyone else. Their tablet may or may not be filled with even more information, but how helpful it actually is even more questionable. When they had been searching and documenting literally everything they could find.]
[When they got tired of reading, they scooted some of the writing aside to lay down. It was already comfy here, so, why bother moving?]

[Ardyn leaned over with a look of concern, pushing violet hair out of not-quite-human yellow eyes.]
This is an odd choice of locations to rest, isn't it?
no subject
[But they give Ardyn what was probably a look that someone would give if they were half asleep. Most likely anyway.]
no subject
I'm sorry--did I bother you?
no subject
[But as for the question...not really. They shake their head but kept staring on. Did he need something, or..?]

[Type-y type-y]
Does it rain?
no subject
Well, it's been known to on occasion.
no subject
Used to this.
[Camping out in places like this, anyway.]
Probably won't stay for that long.

"Look, I'm just passing through, so before you get the notion to- refrain from stabbing me with any small pointy objects... alright?"
Not that he had been stabbed by Hornet, but he knew someone who had been.
no subject
But if Kaiba wanted the bug's attention, he sure had it now. Not nearly enough to warrant a stabbing, yet, but they were watching him closely.
no subject
".. Don't give me that look." Then with a shake of his head. "You're definitely not as quick to react as that other bug." With that assessment he eased up a bit.
"I haven't seen you around."
no subject
Rather than actually saying something, the bug just clickity tappy something on their communicator, before showing him the screen.
'What other bug?'
no subject
Kaiba waited, albeit impatiently for the bug to type out a response. At least he wasn't visibly displaying it.
A mute?
His eyes glanced over the screen before he replied. "Hornet- I think that was her name." Realizing he might have stirred false hope, he supplied a little more information a tad more readily. ".. but you won't find her here, not unless she's just recently arrived. I met her in another dimension, prior to Havenwell." For someone who claimed not to linger in the past, Kaiba sure did so often enough. In fact, one of the items he managed to bring with him from the Void bore Hornet's likeness on it. Perhaps he might have an opportunity some time to show it off.. not that he carried it around with him, mind you. It was stowed at home, near the replicator.

But unfortunately, right as soon as they got their hopes up it was gone once again. A disappointing, somewhat lonely feeling. Though not too surprising.
'I know her.
Where is she now?'
no subject
At least the words that are typed out are more illuminating.
"I'm not really sure- I would assume that she returned to her own dimension like others had in the past, but then again I didn't return to Domino- I ended up here."
I meant to do this so much sooner hjhsdgfghg
'Traveled to worlds?'
