[ Some weeks ago, things got heated-up in Havenwell - with the assault on the research towers and the native population now somewhat angry at the offworlders - but despite everything, Mina continues to do her patrolling around the city every day. It's true this place is (mostly) peaceful and there are no villains around, but Mina still wants to offer her help and still wants to feel like she can help, and even giving a hand with small mundane tasks is good enough for now.

Even though a new project would be nice too...

Still, Mina does not complain, and she walks around the city with a smile, waving at the robots she passes by, even the ones that might be a bit suspicious of her. She drops by the temples too, to give all Gods offerings, mostly as a sign of peace, and the robots now patrolling the place also get her support (mostly cheerful words) since in her eyes, they are kind of doing the same. And of course, she always wears her Hero uniform, bright and loud just like herself.

It's during one of these patrols that she ends up bumping against Alphinaud. While she was waving her arms at a temple's priest while screaming loudly saying "Goodbye", Mina ends up bumping against the other with a gasp ]

W-woah, sorry about that!!

[Considering how big this place was, he felt it better to really get to know the locale as much as he could. The sooner the better. Mayhap he could even make a difference here and try to improve the lives of not only the offworlders, but the natives as well. He had been so distracted with a notebook he had in his hands that he hadn't noticed her coming his way.]

O-oh! My apologies. I was not paying attention. [What an interesting fashion choice, but he's not going to linger on it.] Are you alright?

Aha- me neither! [ she admits to that with a smile, not really worried about it, though. Mina's hand reaches behind her head, rubbing her neck for a bit with an apologetic smile ] S'all good! Just gotta watch where I'm going.

Are you alright? [ and even though she asks a question, Mina gasps a little right away, leaning forward ] Oh, i don't think we have met! Are you new?

I'm Mina!

I'm perfectly okay. Ah, yes. I just arrived not too long ago.

It's nice to meet you, Mina. My name is Alphinaud. I'm still adjusting to this place yet, but I have plenty of friends here who have been filling me in on what's been happening here.

[ new person then. Mina hasn't been paying a lot of attention to the network lately, but at least she can still meet people the old way ]

Oh- people from your world? I guess the gods like to bring everyone kinda together, so we don't feel lonely or something.

[Alphinaud is all for meeting new people. Aside from having possible connections later, simply having more friends was nice.]

That is correct. Their presence has made adjusting easier. [Not to mention more comforting.] That would make sense. Considering the objective for bringing us here in the first place, it is awfully generous for them to consider our needs as well.

[Which just reminds him about the drama that's transpired prior to his arrival. Crossing his arms into his chest...]

It would be nice if there was something I could do for them. They don't seem too keen to see people like us. [He's been filled in at least.]

[ some people would argue it's all by accident, but honestly, Mina thinks it's weird so many people know each other like that. It's hard to call it an accident ]

Hm... well, they want us to hold hands and hug, so that helps a lot. it gives the gods power and that's the whole point, right? [ Mina places her hands on her hips with a smile ]

Other than that, keep the place clean and safe, help with tasks the robots ask, that sort of thing is good help too. Just because it sounds mundane, doesn't mean it's not important.

Making meaningful connections here will certainly make that easier.

[Because it makes more sense to hold hands and hug when it's someone you've gotten to know.]

Patrols are more my sister's expertise, although I'll do what mundane tasks I can as well. I'm not sure how it will be beneficial here yet, but I hope that my experience with politics will be good for something.

Politics... well, after what happened, I guess that could come in hand too? I mean, right now the natives are pretty mad at us. [ she can't blame them ]

I think it would be beneficial to learn more, but I intend to do what I can to mend relations as much as possible. I'm sure there are maps of Havenwell, but I think it would help me get more familiar with the area if I took notes for myself.
