Vianca...
was in a pickle.
She'd mostly gotten kind of used to being in Havenwell, some deeply pushed down emotions about her predicament aside! Ha ha ha who wanted to confront what happened when it was time to leave robot land not this Pikmin. Not right now. Possibly not ever.
So with that thought good and properly buried, and her starting to feel a bit more comfortable in this new space, there were some things she wanted to work on. If Havenwell's weather was going to continue being so... that for the time being, she really ought to have multiple tools at her disposal! Her actual pikmin form afforded her more options, though this winged version was still new. Flying was still something she was gradually figuring out. So during some of the days where she didn't really run into anyone, Vianca dedicated to practice.
...It was kind of fun! She hoped it was okay to think it was fun. She could buzz around now! She could reach so many high places! Wow! Amazing. Real good.
The pickle Vianca found herself in was that after some of these practice sessions, she... couldn't turn back into a little girl. No little girls here. Just soda can sized plant bug.
With no mouth for speaking.
And she hadn't really. Told anyone yet. She hadn't really meant to keep it a secret, she just wasn't sure who would mind or not yet, and. Well. Maybe that made it a secret by default but. This had never happened before.
Oh no.
Oh no???
So anyway there was a strange, little pink creature buzzing around Havenwell now. It kinda looks like a Pokemon? It kinda looks like a bug? It's got a flower? What the heck! You might catch it buzzin' around looking for... something. Or the wind might just blow it right into you. Gosh.
[[NOTES: As always I'll match whatever format you want to post in! Characters particularly sensitive to plants or different kind of energies might not know its Vianca just from that this way, but if they meet her now and then meet the little girl version later... wink wonk. That big purple flower on her head is the same one she wears in her hair, for the astute detectives among us. I'M DOWN TO PARTY and you can always hit me up at

"Bringin' it back down, then."
Sure. He can't figure out the logic here, but he's a little more willing to take it in stride when he's not sure how clear of an explanation he'd get out of her if he asks.

Once the rock was back on the ground, Vianca stood up on top of it and looked up at Tamaki. Were you paying attention.
Because here it was: the smallest pantomime of some choice flexes.
no subject
He crouches down again to get a good look now that she's returned to the ground, so he is definitely paying attention to the little show he's about to get.
Oh! Oh he gets it!!
"You're working out? Getting strong?"
no subject
Vianca confirmed it though, giving a few quick nods. That was pretty much it! She was practicing! That was the only way to get better at all of this and be useful.
no subject
"Impressive!" Something so small, working so hard... yes, he definitely wants to cheer her on. "Do you want any help?"
no subject
Oh! She tapped the thinky hand on her other in a gesture of 'aha!'
This rock was probably a little too heavy for her idea though. She patted it, then lifted her hands to slowly press them closer together in a gesture to say 'smaller.'
no subject
"You want to find a smaller rock?" You can't go too heavy right out the gates when weight training, after all. "We can do that!"
no subject
Let's find that rock! Taking to the air again, she flew a possibly playful circle around him and set off on the search.
no subject
Tamaki keeps his focus closer to the ground and his eyes peeled for some smaller looking stones to work with, but a little bit of talk to fill the air isn't such a bad idea, either. "I don't think I've seen anything like you around before, are you from here...?"
A cute little pink and purple flower creature would probably be right at home in a place like, say, Ainea's temple, he thinks. He briefly looks up from his search, eyes on Vianca for a 'yes' or 'no' type of answer.
no subject
She wasn't really sure how to convey that actually, they had already met before. That was too many charades, too much guessing, and really... it probably didn't matter that much? At least not right now.
no subject
"Ah, so the robots brought you in, too, huh?"
Not that everyone in Havenwell is a regular human person, but thinking of them recruiting someone so small to help out with such a big task... that's pretty interesting.
"You look like you can get around fine, but," and here, he holds out his hand toward her. If they're both here to help out, then he might as well make the offer. "I can give you a ride, if you want."
no subject
Her flower bobbed along as Vianca nodded her head, because yep, they'd brought her too. Despite it making perfectly logical meta sense, she wasn't really sure why either. Not that she wasn't grateful for the opportunity, but there were probably better picks out there huh?
But hello there, a hand. Vianca looked at it. She could certainly get around on her own, but... she was a little tired. A bit of rest before the next exercise was probably a wise plan. It only took her a moment of this consideration for her to hover her way over, carefully descending on to Tamaki's palm. It was almost like she had been carefully constructed to fit perfectly in a hand. Almost like the gods had planned this.
She hummed a thankful note to him, carefully holding on to his thumb.
no subject
It's wise to take breaks every so often while you're training your muscles! Your tiny plant muscles. They. They probably operate mostly the same way.
Either way, he brings his hand in a little closer to himself once she's settled, giving her a nice, steady vantage point to watch from while Tamaki himself keeps an eye out for good sized stones. "No problem."
no subject
But maybe something like this could have happened. Maybe there would have been people happy to lend her a hand. It probably wasn't worth wondering, since she'd never know.
So she told herself not to think about it, focusing instead on the task at hand. Holding on to his thumb, she kept a sharp lookout for prime rocks. She wanted something a little smaller. Something that would be easy for, say, an idol to throw.
no subject
For now, we rock hunt.
Not a difficult task by any means. With enough searching, a slightly smaller stone is spotted. Tamaki kneels down with a small, "Oh!" to pick it up for Vianca to see. "How's this one?"
no subject
Climbing on top of it, Vianca gave it an experimental hoist. It wasn't as heavy as the lunker she'd been lifting up and down, but it still had some good heft to it. It would probably work! Vianca hummed happily, gently setting it back down on his hand with a nod.
Nice work!
So she stood up on top of it, giving the rock a point. Then she pointed at Tamaki and swung her buggy arm like a pitcher.
no subject
"The rock... you want me to throw it?"
After they'd gone through the trouble of finding it? Surely there's some kind of plan here, but that seems like an odd request.
no subject
The Pikmin took to flight again, flying off a fair enough distance before she twirled around to look at him again. See, you'd throw the rock and... Vianca made a tiny swoop, like she might have been catching something.
See?
no subject
He's getting it! With a small, 'hup', straightens himself back up and gives the stone an experimental toss up into the air.
"You sure you'll be able to catch it?"
That's a little different than just lifting something up as high as you can, after all.
no subject
So she swooped again, nodding encouragingly. Let's do it!
no subject
"All right."
Let's do it, then! "Ready?" Have a nice and easy underhand toss!
no subject
Vianca backed up a bit in the air, looking up at the rock like the world's smallest, hovering puppy trying to calculate when to jump for a ball. This was, essentially, the exact same thing. She went in for the swoop, tiny hands latching on to the rock and--
Sinking straight down oh no hang on
Let her just buzz those wings furiously to haul herself back into the air. She had it! It was cool! That was just! A surprise!!! A few hums of concentration later and she was flying that rock back over to Tamaki.
no subject
Tamaki quickly takes a step forward, hand out as if he's going to go in for his own catch, when she starts to drop down, but - ! Ah, okay, it looks like she's got a handle on the situation...? Okay... Okay.
"Good catch."
