"Yes," came her quiet confirmation from the bookshelf. Somewhere between handing him the water and him getting his tickly foliage under somewhat control, Vianca had already bustled off into well practiced motions. She'd been halfway up the ladder system attached around the shelf, plucking up the very book in question.
She was certain she'd left it on a lower shelf. That it was this high meant someone taller--someone at all-- had been reading it. Ah... that was a good feeling.
