[Closed] This can only go well
♥ Who: Goro Akechi, Ren Amamiya & Ann Takamaki
♥ Where: Ren's apartment
♥ When: May 8th
♥ What: Ann and Ren managed to drag Akechi over to Ren's place to have a sleepover. (More than likely there will be Royal onward spoilers.)
♥ Rating: PG13 to start. Probably won't get any worse than that.
Having Ren and Ann decide to have a sleepover seemed pretty normal. Akechi couldn't really see how that would be weird. It seemed to be a pretty common thing amongst friends, but it wasn't anything that he himself had done. Not with how he'd viewed friends to begin with. He did not need them, so he never really did anything like this. He hardly even celebrated holidays. Those kinds of events you generally celebrated with friends and family; He was lacking in both departments. So once they started discussing sleepover plans, he left them to it.
Well... until the two of them stopped him. They really wanted him to join them? He knew they had been trying to get him to open up to them, but it wasn't that easy. Even after protesting the idea for a little while, they had been pretty damn insistent.
So now here was Goro "I Don't Need Friends" Akechi standing outside of Ren's apartment feeling like a moron. Why did he agree to this? He knew if he didn't show up at all, they would come to find him and drag him there anyway... Letting out a sigh, he finally knocked on the door awkwardly.

Ren was, of course, pleased as punch that this little scheme of his was working. Granted, even if Goro hadn't accepted, one might suspect that Ren would have just stayed over in his place instead because, that's the type of person he was.
The night had been planned with what he could get in this world; some typical Japanese-inspired late-night snacks, some board games because of course they'd need to ping Akechi into the intellect angle, and then more mindless games for later once they managed to get him to relax (maybe?). Some places to sleep, made as comfortable as possible. Also very close to each other. Thankfully Ren didn't snore. He knew that Ann didn't either. It would be funny if Goro did...
Anyway. The door rang and he went to answer it, smiling as he pushed up his glasses.
"Always making sure you're the first one to show up, huh?" He opened the door wide open. "Welcome, welcome, I'm sure we're going to have fun tonight."

The bell is rung, and when Ren answers, she flashes him a bright, pleased smile, laughing at his words. "Early is better than fashionably late, no matter what anyone says. Unless it's school, then being fashionably late is very much acceptable." According to both Ryuji and herself it is, at least. Don't question it too much, Ren. As he pushes the door open, she walks in and beams brighter. "Thanks! I'm really excited to be able to spend time with you guys. It's sure been a while, huh?"

He paid no mind to the fact that sleeping arrangements would have them so close simply because he hadn't realized just yet. Right... fun...
"Being punctual is a good habit to have," he shrugged it off, standing aside so that Ann could pass him since she had gone in before him. Walking inside, he closed the door behind him to glance around. "Well, it's certainly a first," don't sound too excited, Goro.

"Just something a detective would say," Ren added with a smile on his face. He nods at Ann, "Yeah! It has been a while and I missed it." Even if it was just the three of them, and Goro wasn't really there most of the other times. Spending time with friends was always worth it.
"Did you bring a pair of Pyjamas, Goro?"
Important questions, you see.

at the moment, at least. Give it time and she'll have a collection of the brightest, cutest colors to place upon their nails--Flashing a thankful smile at Akechi as he allows her in first, she turns to fully face both boys, clasping her hands together behind her back. Poor Goro has no clue what he's being dragged into right now, or how chaotic this humble little sleep over of theirs could potentially get. And she's absolutely living for that. "It's good to see you again, too, Akechi-kun! I'm glad that you decided to join us."
The most hilarious part about this entire thing? Neither one of them realize that she's watching the two of them very closely, amusement growing tenfold because she's very much looking forward to seeing how they interact and if it differs from their relationship in the Void or not.

"Should I have?" he asked awkwardly. It made sense. It was as if he'd gone to bed in his own home and all, but he hadn't even thought about it here. Now he wondered if he should have asked, considering what Ren might have done with that knowledge.
If Akechi goes home with brightly colored nail polish on, he's done with this sleepover. Each minute he remained here, he asked himself why he decided it would be better to just put up with it. "Well, there really isn't much to do around here," that was absolutely an excuse to save face... What little there was to save anyway.
Ann was going to be very surprised to realize that they were nowhere nearly as close as they were back in the Void. There was so much potential to push Akechi's buttons.
Sorry for being so late due to RL
Which is why they look somewhat tame as he holds it up, the white shirt and zebra pants giving a little bit of a Loki vibe.
"Don't worry then, we'll make it fun." That could be really good or really ominous. He gave both him and Ann a thumbs up, which probably was not helping things AT ALL.
The door closed behind him, and Ren had half a mind to lock it so their
preyfriend couldn't escape.shhhh you're fine fam
"Wow, Ren, those look like they'd be perfect for Akechi-kun, good job! Look at you with your eye for fashion," she states finally, laughing and throwing Ren a knowing look once the door clicks shut. Yes, here it begins -- two lions surrounding their unsuspecting f r i e n d. It's going to be a fun evening, undoubtedly... there's also some things they do probably all need to discuss and get caught up on, anyways. Like... timelines and whatever other crazy shit they haven't talked about as a group just yet.
While Ren debates locking the door, Ann's smile turns to Akechi now as she loosely loops an arm around the one closest to her; loose enough that he can tug away if he wants, but enough to let him know that he's
FUCKEDstuck here now. "Don't worry, we've got plenty lined up to amuse you tonight~! Isn't that right, Ren?"Man, we're all pretty glacial and it's totally fine.
"Right... I appreciate it," did that sound half-assed? It was definitely half-assed. He didn't mind going through the details that the three of them needed to catch up on, but something told him it wouldn't just be that simple. Giving Ann a look as she looked her arm with his, he -- again -- fought the urge to pull away and now give in to what he was really thinking. He was trying his best too patient.... He really was. Taking the pajamas -- because he had a feeling that Ren wasn't going to let him off without changing into them -- he excuses himself to the bathroom to change hesitantly.
