Flower Time! [OTA]

✿ I: Botanical Garden:
[This place was magical to her. It was so full of life. It invigorated her! There is a place she likes in particular, a patch of flowers that look so similar to ones back home, though they're blue and purple rather than yellow...

You'll find her wandering around, occasionally talking to the flowers (not that they actually talk back!), touching them or sitting on a bench basking in the warmth she feels from the flowers around her and the sweet, rich scent they emit.]

✿ II: Zoo:
Now would you look at you! [Aerith had never been to a zoo before and she had been uncertain about coming here, but now she has no regrets in it! The animals here are all so very strange.

Take this one for example. Such a long neck! And stripes? She'd never seen anything like it in her life. Though most of the animals here will be unlike anything she had ever seen. The only animals she has ever met in person are cats and dogs and the occasional bird.]

✿ III: Festival of Flowers:
[A festival made for this flower girl! Aerith will be found sat in the sun a great deal, usually surrounded by flowers and looking very much at peace just weaving chains of pretty, colourful flowers for any who pass by.]

(a): [Aerith can be found on a bench with flowers in her lap, and several woven into the braid hanging over her shoulder. Why don't you let her show you how it's done?]

(b): [A soft, sweet voice can be heard singing what sounds like a lullaby. It's evening and Aerith is still out, loath to leave and return to the quiet of her home. So she sits, legs crossed in a patch of grass, humming and singing to herself. Or the flowers. Does it seem like they turn to listen? Surely that's your imagination!]

(c): [Closed to Cloud]

Come on, Cloud! [Aerith had a good grip of her bodyguards hand and was tugging him along with her, as was her way, since he was being reluctant again. Things would be so much better if he'd just admit he loved fun things and skipped along with her!

She paused for a moment, that mental image causing a sudden laugh and then a shudder. No, that would not work for Cloud at all!

There was a patch of flowers ahead, in front of a bench. Lots of tiny, colourful and sweet smelling flowers that she intended to pick a few of.]

[Aerith was halfway through making a delicate crown of flowers when Mina approached.

Looking up there's a moment of unguarded surprise at having someone address her, that melts away into a wide and bright smile and a slight, happy flush to her cheeks.]

You think so? Would you like one? [She gestured to the half-made crown in her hands.] Or I could show you how...?

Ah- my hair is short. [ mina touches her bangs, pulling at them ] Would it still work?

Or- do you know how to do flower crowns? [ ohh she'd love one ] I don't mind learning how to do them, they are so cute!

I'm sure it would! Smaller braids to hold the flowers in place, or I could weave a brown into your shorter hair!

But showing you is also fun as well! [She gestured for Mina to come over and sit with her and lifted the crown she was working on.] See? I can show you. I have more than enough flowers for the both of us.

[pinkxeno]

[ mina is fine with anything really, and she quickly approaches to sit besides Aerith. ]

You can do my hair first then. [ she claps her hands excitedly when she realizes the possibilities ] Oh oh, I want flowers on my horns too!! [ though it's a bit embarrassing to feel someone poke them, Mina is fine with it as long she looks cute ]

I can do that! I fact...

[Once Mina sits down, Aerith moves the flowers on her lap onto the bench beside her and turns around. She pulls up a leg onto the bench, half kneeling on it to give her a little height and balance as she reached up and delicately wound the line of flowers around first one of Mina's horn and then broke off the other half to do the same to the second.

When she sat back it was with a bright smile.]

[ mina waits patiently, but Aerith can probably feel her squirm a bit. Still, she has a huge grin on her face and that doesn't change, and once Aerith is done, she pulls out her communicator to take a picture of herself and see how it looks.

With a loud gasp, Mina lifts up the communicator ] It's so cute!!! I look so cute!!!

Aerith-chan, do more, do more! [ she bounces on her seat, offering her head again ] Maybe an actual crown now? I will be the flower queen!!

[She's as gentle as she can be, what with Mina wriggling she has to guess her horns are sensitive, but seeing Mina smile was all the encouragement Aerith needed to reach for her hair again.]

Maybe I could make little braids? And weave some flowers into your hair?

[She ran her fingers lightly through Mina's hair, testing the length for braiding and nodded to herself. But first!]

How about I show you how to make a flower crown?

[ the horns are indeed sort of sensitive, but probably more ticklish than anything.

At the suggestion, Mina grins wide and quickly nods right away at the suggestion of braids and flowers while she tilts her hand towards the touch ]

yes, teach me! i want to make you one, too! [ even thought Aerith seems to be much better at it, she still wants to give the other girl something ]

How about I teach you first, and then while you make one I can add more flowers to your hair?

[It sounded like a good enough plan to Aerith! So, with the flowers she had left, she settled down next to Mina and spent the next half hour patiently showing her friend how to weave and knot the stems together to create strands that could be tied together to form a crown. And from there she showed how more flowers could be added to make an even better, flowery crown.]

[ mina quickly nods, watching Aerith make the flower crown. She probably won't be very good at it, at first, since this isn't the sort of thing Mina is familiar with in the end, but she is excited enough about it to want to try making many of them - not just for herself, but also the other girls she knows, Mina is that sort of person in the end ]

[Whether Mina is good at the start or needs to practice to get there, it doesn't matter to Aerith, she's having fun showing someone a new skill! She's enjoying showing Mina how to make the crowns and when she's shown her how, she hands over the rest of the flowers so that she could make some of her own...

And take a few so she can kneel back on the bench and braid more flowers into her pretty pink hair.]

You're going to look even more beautiful! Like a princess!

[ Mina allows Aerith to decorate her hair as she pleases, trying to finish a flower crown. At least she seems to pick up quickly. ]

Eeeh? A princess? [ Mina looks up ] A pink princess! [ she doesn't mind that at all.

And while Aerith continues to play with Mina's hair, she moves to gently hand the other girl a flower crow ] Here, Aerith-chan! Would this one fit you?

A pretty pink princess!

[Aerith agrees with that sentiment wholeheartedly. When Mina lifts her hand to her, she looks down and her smile is bright. Pulling her hands free, Aerith delicately picked the crown of flowers up and lifted it to set atop her head.]

Does it suit me?

[ Mina carefully helps Aerith, trying to put the crown in place. And once it's on top of her head, Mina grins wide ]

You look really cute, Aerith-chan! it suits you perfectly! [ she gently brushes her fingers through Aerith's hair ] Your hair is really soft too, so it looks great with flowers.

[The compliment has her blushing, as does the touch to her hair, but Aerith his smiling wide enough her cheeks were beginning to ache. But she was happy. This was so nice.]

Thanks, Mina! And... you think so? [A hand lifted to lightly touch her own hair, her smile softening some.]

I like yours better! It's such a lovely colour.

[ mina never stops smiling, this is normal for her. The compliment gets her to shake her head a bit, so her pink hair will move ]

Yeah- I like pink a lot, ehehe- [ that is obvious by the way she looks but also by the way she dresses - pink is always involved ] I was the only one in my class with a different hair and skin color! I take that as being very lucky. [ she laughs, amused ]

I think it's very lucky!

[Mina was very pretty and the pink only made her moreso. Aerith liked the colour too!

Once again she reaches out to the flowers in Mina's hair, repositioning one that had moved when she'd shaken her head.]

And I really think you suit flowers in your hair too.

And on my horns as well. [ Mina can't really stop smiling, her hand reaching up to feel the flowers, and then moving to her horns ]

But well, the flowers fit yours too! You are very pretty ehehe.

[Aerith's cheeks warmed again. Such flattery was... while not uncommon, it was still something she wasn't quite used to.

Without thinking, Aerith leaned in to give Mina a hug.]

Pretty flowers girls together!

[ Mina absolutely doesn't mind the hug, immediately hugging Aerith back with a happy laugh ]

We match now!! We both look super cute with our flowers.

You're so much more fun than the grumpy men in my life.

[Aerith decided with a laugh of her own.]

Trying to get flowers in Clouds hair, you'd think I asked him if it was okay to drill holes through his eyes!

[She definitely needed more cute female friends to have, who could share in cute things like this. And who didn't mind hugs as well!]

[ mina suddenly laughs ] i know the feeling. I only got Bakugou here and all he wants to do is explode things. [ mina groans a little, pulling away from the hug for a second ]

He'd burn all the flowers I'd give him.

Then he's not allowed to go anywhere near the flowers!

[Aerith made an unhappy face and gave a shake of her head. How could anyone hurt flowers?]

[ mina shrugs ] I'm not gonna give him any crowns, that's for sure.
