♥ Who: Lup + Close CR (who will be contacted! <3)
♥ Where: Lup's house
♥ When: start of August
♥ What: A ladies (kinda) night, the redux!
♥ Rating: PG and up, probably
Those who Lup deigned to grace with an invitation will receive one at random: that at the recipient's convenience if they so desire, they are invited to join her in what she is calling (without explanation) a Pocket Dimension Party. As per the instructions, any time within the next 24 hours, they can enter through the garden back door and "find the cat".
Should one accept the invitation and follow those instructions, they can find Ditto curled up in the grass beside the house, dozing, though at the arrival of any visitor he perks up and stretches. Rubbing up against their legs, Ditto will head over to a section of the wall and paw at a corner, until a door abruptly glimmers into existence and opens for him. He meows plaintively and waits. Go on in! Just close the door behind you.
Inside the doorway, visitors will find… a mansion. Elaborately decorated, warm, and inviting, it is like entering a rich and immaculate house that someone's taken a lot of time and TLC to make perfect. No one greets them as they enter, but if they call for attention and no one is in the immediate vicinity, a semi-transparent spectral servant will arrive and guide them to Lup. Otherwise, they are free to explore the house and make use of the facilities as they please.
The following areas are available:
More details to be added as needed! This is a mingle free-for-all, there is no set schedule. Visitors can come and go as they please for 24 hours, and at the end of the spell anyone still inside will be summarily booted out into the garden.

The following areas are available:
- An extravagant entrance hall with soft wood paneling and fancy art on the walls
- A lounge area with big fluffy couches, pillows, and blankets, as well as a projection screen that works with communicators and whatever digital media Lup is familiar with, or a music mix in lieu of said media being played
- A full-service kitchen and dining area, where a collection of spectral servants (features to be determined) will upon request cook any meal a person desires, assuming they (and by association Lup) are familiar with the recipe and ingredients. It's all delicious, too!
- A sizable basement with regenerating training dummies, various targets, and more servants who will act as moving targets on request. They can't be hurt, but they can move around freely.
- A big and beautiful spa with all the soaps and pampering material that anyone could ask for
- A "pet room", AKA a room devoted to toys, climbing shelves, cat trees- whatever an animal might want to stay entertained for hours unsupervised

[ Even if she is... something of that kind of person, who hesitates, and waits, denies herself when she is uncertain of her own self... even if she wasn't always, and she knows this.
It is more the latter reason that drives this. Losing connections because she can't always speak up, having this one be damaged because of her weakness. Those flowers were hers, after all; would she always be so weak in the face of her own difficult past? ]
I may never become... comfortable. Waiting or not will not alter that, with the life I have. Years may pass, and the opportunity too, may slip away. I would rather have that not occur.

Pyra always favors the latter, of those who overcome their hardships. She knows it might be scary, but the important part is that she sees another doing, trying, instead of being held back by a fear. Having help, however, ....helps. ]
Then... We can start with one flower, if you'd like.
no subject
Much like being confronted by her own existence. The necessity of having to challenge such difficulty at all, in trusting herself not to damage... this past reminder of a lost planet. ]
That seems... reasonable. To start with one, and determine if others may follow.
no subject
Let me know whenever you wish to see the flower.
no subject
[ Which still gives her some time to mentally prepare for it, at least. ]
no subject
That she's willing to approach a single flower from her past already makes her leagues braver than Pyra, who cannot so much as hold the single item she's received from her own world half a year ago. ] Mm... And if you do end up changing your mind-- let's just have something like cookies or cake instead!

[ Her own expression relaxes slightly as well. It is all too easy to be discouraged, with a difficult history and the struggle to make meaning for those aspects, the balance to acknowledge her past without feeling as though she were taking away from her future. Mostly, she thinks of Lup. ]
There must be many of them now, after those rains. You have had your hands full.

All the flowers, I mean. [ ... ] Horus enjoys the sylleblossoms, but I've also seen him pecking at the berries.
[ She keeps her expression soft. ] I like caring for those flowers for... reminiscing.
no subject
[ It's a heavy sort of word, even if it is meant to reflect upon good things that are long past. She'd sat among flowers before, but none that drew any sort of meaning for her at the time. ]
Has he, now... you have not mentioned Horus before.
no subject
Horus appeared as a gift from Rawna, after the Unburdening. [ Horus is, frankly, one of the few things she has left of him besides memories. ]
no subject
Perhaps if anything, that explained even more how deep her connection with this Somnus had been. ]
And yet he remained...
[ Our, she'd said. ]
I admit I am not... familiar with such creatures. Perhaps I will have to see him sometime as well.

If you can tolerate waking early, you're welcome to join us.
[ Most people are not ready to wake up that early. But Pyra doesn't need sleep, mostly, and she's available. Also, meeting Horus in town instead of her house with the juniberries is a lot safer. ]
no subject
There is much I can tolerate.
[ To wake early? There are nights when she does not sleep. Even if there are the rarer times where it is more difficult for her to drag herself from her bed. Time itself is an enigma, as much as she adheres to the twins' meal schedule. ]
I will have to recall it, if it is before dawn when I wake.
[ And if she is not immediately preoccupied with... something. But it is something to consider. ]
no subject
Anyway. Enough about her. ]
You... have a few different pets too, don't you? Or-- erm, just Kova, correct?
no subject
[ She refers to the other cats at the cafe, who had been there for quite a few months, now. ]
But that is all, unless you consider my small robots pets as well.
no subject
[ Say what. ]
no subject
[ Sort of. Of course she's not quite good at that. ]
Perhaps the better term might be... helpers. For cleaning, and surveying, or any other task suited to them.
no subject
Would you show me sometime?
[ EVEN ROBOTIC HELPERS ARE CUTE.... ]
no subject
[ She's a little surprised that Pyra hadn't seen the roomba before, but it wasn't often taken out of the house these days, unless it was to make cleaning easier in the Cafe. Her other robot was a more recent arrival. ]
They are at the house. There's little need for them in here.
no subject
The robots... are something I've admired of this world from the beginning. [ Even if becoming robots had contributed to wrecking the world, apparently. ] But your little helpers, did you make them yourself? Or were they a part of this world?
no subject
[ An unexpected find, but not an unwelcome one. ]
no subject
...And then sheepishness because, really given all that she knows of Honerva, she should have expected her to be able to make robots. ]
I've always been impressed with robotics. And if these robots are made with technology from another world, I wouldn't mind seeing them.
no subject
[ She's modest, though they are small and simplistic in nature. But perhaps that is what makes them better than other things she's had a hand in designing. ]
... Still I admit I am fond of them, so it is... fortunate, to have them both here.
[ She thinks she must have been very lonely when she had originally made them and not realized it, but it was also around the time she'd met the twins, too. ]
no subject
Did you name them?
no subject
[ She smiles a little, something a little distracted in her expression at that recollection. It had been such a different frame of mind, for only a couple of years. ]
Perhaps I might give more thought to doing something about that.
