[ 1 - Awakening, at Ohma's Temple ]

[ Yasu was definitely not a happy camper when he found himself in this strange world. He was (somewhat) preparing for a battle of the bands against some crazy minded rock band that had double-booked in the event Yasu's group was supposed to take stage for, not saving the world or whatever the heck these priest robots wanted him to do. Hugs will save the world? Yasu immediately scoffed at that before growling in response after the initial explanation the priests had kindly given him.

This has got to be some stupid, dumb joke. ]

Don't bullshit, take me back to my home right now!!

[ Either way, if anyone happens to pass by Ohma's temple, you would hear a teenager kid arguing with the priests, being stubborn to believe any word the priests were saying. ]

[ 2 - The Great Treasure Hunt ]

[ After he was over the initial argument with the priests and found a place to call home while he's stuck in this world, Yasu can be found wandering around the city with a scowl on his face while having a glaring contest with his phone. It's not to say he didn't appreciate the priests giving him something to do while familiarizing with the city, it was still practically forced onto as he left the temple initially, and that's what he didn't like. ]

...How the hell am I supposed to figure out where everything is with clues like this??

[ He definitely knows he needs to talk to others that were brought here like him, but socializing was never his strong point. He lets an exasperated sigh out as he starts looking for anyone that didn't look like a robot, and once he finds one, he starts walking over with a scowl on his face. ]

Hey you. Mind helping me out with somethin'?

[ 3 - Entertainment District ]

[ Now that he's familiarized himself with the city whereabouts, Yasu finally gets another moment to spend some quiet time. But with quiet time came idle thoughts, and he didn't exactly like worrying about if his mom was doing okay by herself back in his home town. It just made him more irritated of his current situation.

To take his mind off of depressing thoughts, Yasu wanders to the entertainment district. The treasure hunt let him familiarize with the VR cafes, but he had yet to check whether there were studios where one may practice music. After wandering around for some time, he realizes the closest thing would be VR cafes, much to his disappointment.

He does, however, notice that there's an empty unused building. If no one's using it, no one would complain if he borrowed it for an hour or so to practice his guitar, right? So he sets foot into it, gets his guitar out and starts playing one of his band songs, singing along with it. It's lacking the base and drum but he'll have to work with what he's got for the moment.

If someone is to catch his melody and walk in, he'll stop abruptly and glare over at you, ]

What? You got a problem?

[ Kyoko is still a bit wary of strangers approaching her in Havenwell, because isn't the most obvious reason that they want something out of her? That particular something they were all brought here to do. She just doesn't wanna deal with it, okay! Leave her alone! Follow normal social boundaries!

All of that paired with the glare on this guy's face as he comes towards her makes her hackles rise. She practically barks. ]

State your business! Say it clearly and plainly!

[ The heck? "Feel free to ask others around!" they said...! Yasu gives another frustrated sigh out as he lifts his free hand up in the air, grumbling under his breath for a moment before directing his response back to the girl. ]

I ain't out for fights, the annoying priests gave some stupid treasure hunt shit to do.

[ He raises the phone he's got in his hands that currently are showing one of the hints on the screen, and points at it with his free hand that he had up. ]

You know shit about this Havenwell place?

[ Oh huh, now that he mentions it, picking fights is a more normal thing to suspect of a scowling delinquent-looking guy than asking for hugs. Fair point. But apparently he's after neither of those things?

Relaxing her stance a little, Kyoko squints over at the screen, though she's not actually close enough to read anything on it. ]

A... treasure hunt? [ Is that kind of thing popular with young punks these days?? ] I don't know anything about that.... But are you lost, or something?

[ Kyoko's assumption is precise, and that's how Yasu feels about it as well. Not that he likes being in fights, it's a time waster and he could be doing better things, like helping out with his mom's store.

Yasu blinks as the other keeps to her spot, even though she seems to understand that he's not out to create violence. Did he really give off that much of an intimidating look? His frown deepens for a second. ]

Annoying... I ain't lost [ he actually is ] I just need pointers for where the hell this hint's trying to take me.

[ He takes a step towards the other before stopping, not wanting to revert to the situations just a moment ago. ]

You mind taking a look at it?

[ He tries to hand the phone over to Kyoko, although they're still a little too far apart for them to pass the device to each other without taking more steps.

The hint says "A magical helmet only the offworlders can use. Put it on and find yourself somewhere completely new! Bring the receipt of a game played to complete this item." ]

[ Honestly, it wasn't that deep. She'd just been so ready for this whole interaction to be shouting, and now it suddenly was something very different! As the surprise fades after a moment or two, she moves in closer to bend her head over that phone. ]

What... you could have just read this out loud, right? [ She mutters it absently, chiding the complete stranger without actually being mad. ] Magical helmet... game? Isn't that just VR?

[ Because he didn't think that far. He gives a small grunt in response to that first comment but nothing more, because he knows his annoyance is going to be even more rude. He's got that much sense for socializing! Instead he focuses on her response after reading the hint. ]

VR? That virtual reality thing? [ his world basically becomes a VR from time to time when lives happen because technology in his world was weird, but not with helmets... ]

So there's a spot for the VR stuff? [ focusing on the task at hand, yep. ]

[ She nods, all her remaining tension easing as she realizes how actually not-bad this situation has turned out to be. All this mysterious youth wanted from her was the extremely obvious answer to a riddle! What an easy win. ]

There are lots! In the entertainment district. Ah, you said you're not lost, right?

[ He knows where that is, right? ]

Uh... Yeah, kinda. [ He's got no clue where it is. His stubborn personality is making it harder for him to actually ask like a decent person. ]

Entertainment district, huh? Thanks. [ And with that, he'll start making his way...to the completely opposite direction. ]

[ For a few moments, Kyoko just watches him walk off in the wrong direction. Maybe he'll realize it...? --Ah, nope, he's definitely just heading that way.

Well. She could leave him to eventually figure it out and ask someone else, but considering he just lied to her about being lost, how long is it going to be until he does that? What if he makes it all the way to the outer edges of the city, into the wasteland, where spiders will tear him to shreds?

He'll hear a small sigh from behind him, before Kyoko hurries up to swing around in front of him. ]

It'll be faster if you turn around.

[ And he asks the guy who looks like he's from some period war drama?

Well, Sasuke can't say he doesn't know the feeling of getting tossed into this place without much direction, but he can't say he's super enthusiastic either. ]

I'll let you know now that I still haven't finished my scavenger hunt from when I arrived.

[ He's seen people perform in kimono outfits and apparently a group of ninjas (he hasn't seen them himself), so anything is possible!

It's more that he's got no one else to ask, ok.

But when he receives the response, Yasu blinks in surprise. ]

The hell? So this doesn't have to be done ASAP?

[ If that's the case he could just not bother with it! ]

[ Sasuke shrugs. As far as he knows, he hasn't gotten into trouble for not finishing it. Besides, these people dumped a guy who had no idea what a camera was and told him to take pictures. He thought he was going to be stealing paintings or something until someone clarified that. ]

It's supposed to encourage exploration, but they've got a few steps they need to work on before it works for everyone.

[ stealing paintings... sir...

Yasu's determination to work on the treasure map diminishes as he listens. He'll find his way around eventually when he needs to, so maybe he can slide by without finishing it like this guy.

At the same time though... ]

...So you know your way around town now?

[ What else could "take pictures" mean to someone who doesn't know what a camera is? ]

Well enough given how big this place is.

[ He still can't answer all the questions because he lacks some information, but he's gotten closer. ]

[ Yasu gives a doubtful look, but stays quiet. There's nothing pressing at the moment so even if they take longer to figure out these riddles, it's fine for him. ]

...Whatever. I got this clue talkin' about trees making gold fruit? You know where to find them?

[ It's the clue #2, "These temporary and delectable trees are hard to find hidden among their brethren, but in their branches edible gold awaits you! Bring one of these fruits to your priest." Yasu's got no idea what this clue's talking about. ]

[ For this one, Yasu will be in luck. Sasuke has spent so much time in the botanical gardens. He found that one without even meaning to. ]

Follow me. I know a place where there's actually trees and ones that are close to the real thing. It's one of the better places in this city.

[ Sasuke doesn't like how little nature there is in Havenwell. He needs more greenery in his life. ]

[The Nomad has been treating Havenwell in much the same way he treats any other new location he winds up in: wander until he finds something interesting or until something happens (or until he gets chased out of town, though given that he seems to have been brought here for a purpose, he doubts that'll happen here). Right now, that something interesting is the guitar music coming from an empty building. He hasn't heard music since- well, the fiesta, but the fiesta hadn't exactly been relaxing. This, on the other hand, is pretty nice.]

[So he pokes his head in and then enters, fully intent on just relaxing and listening to the music, aaaaand he gets a confrontation instead.]

[He holds his hands up and shakes his head - nope, everything's fine! - then points at the guitar and gives an enthusiastic thumbs up. It's good!]

[ Yasu definitely should have thought more through before just plopping in an empty building to practice music. It was more awkward for him to practice in the residential area, so he figured it was a good idea but he should've at least expected curious minds to interrupt his practice session here.

He pauses for a moment when he receives gestures for a reply instead of spoken words, and furrows his brows, confused. ]

...You can't talk?

[ At least with the thumbs up, the...guy? seems to enjoy his music, at least. ]

[Right, nobody knows about him here. He's going to be answering this question a lot. He shakes his head - nope, he sure can't - and then shrugs - that's life!]

[After a moment, he tilts his head and points again at the guitar. The music was really good, though - he liked that.]

[ Yasu's barely started taking music seriously back at home, so actually getting compliments like this is something he's not quite used to just yet. Especially when was more common for punks to start a fight instead. ]

Uh... Thanks.

[ He relaxes at the silent positiveness this guy has, and pauses for a moment, being awkward at this seemingly one-sided conversation. ]

So you like music, huh? Do you play any instruments?

[ Since he obviously can't do vocals. ]
