[ 1 - Tanjiro & Zenitsu; Training / Various places ]
[ Whether it be in one of the VR cafes in the entertainment district, or at Diacht's temple, the two will be found doing some training.

If you are to join them in the VR cafes, what you'll be at the base of a mountain. It's not the mountain you may have seen during January, but a mountain nevertheless. You'll most likely hear Zenitsu shrieking in the distance as he falls into a pit hole or something. Hey, it's training! There's gotta be obstacles, right? If you call out for anyone, either Tanjiro or Zenitsu will show up, the former looking super energetic and beaming with happiness, or the latter being super tired and looking like his soul's getting sucked out.

Or, if you happen to be Diacht's temple during early parts of the day, the kids will be warming up for a run around the city. You'll most likely hear Zenitsu mainly whining and complaining while Tanjiro is most likely trying to get Zenitsu to hype up for training instead. They're totally good friends.

It'll be fairly quick for the two (or one of them) to realize another person when they get closer. ]

[ 2 - Zenitsu; Shopping District ]
[ Whatever free time he's got left during the time is spent wandering around the shopping district by himself. He's basically just window shopping, as it was the area that would have been remotely close to the city he was living in. Not to mention with previous relationships in the past, he'd spend a lot of time (and money) buying gifts for his now former girlfriends. You can safely assume he's spent a fortune before.

He's no longer a heavy spender, but it will be just as easy for him to fall back to it when he cares so much for the female friends he's made over the past couple months.

If he sees a familiar face, he'll raise his hand and wave at you to catch your attention. If you're a girl, he'll give you a bright smile, but if you're a guy, you’re going to get his usual frown like he's scared of everything. ] ...Hey.

[ 3 - Tanjiro; Housing District ]
[ To be quite frank, Tanjiro is getting a little frustrated about how his cooking is turning out less than stellar as of late. He's pretty sure he has the temperature and spices correct, but more than a few times, the food ends up being a little too plain or a little too strong depending how the ingredients were replicated.

It doesn't help that Zenitsu's taste buds aren't keen but it is pretty spoiled, so he has a certain preference that Tanjiro's slowly learning over time, and over the times he missed the mark thanks to the replicator. But, as much as he wants to improve his cooking, he can't always rely on his friend to taste test everything.

Around afternoon, he'll be around the housing district with a food container in hand and several small forks. He's going to walk up to the first person he sees and holds a fork. ]

[Somnus enters the temple to the familiar sound of complaining when it's accompanied by a new, patient voice. He cranes his neck in their direction and, sure enough, there's Zenitsu with, perhaps, a friend. They're close enough that their eyes meet at some point, which is when Somnus offers his greeting.]

Hail, Agatsuma.

[ Between February being a music-centric month as well as Vianca's birthday and him spending time picking out gifts for her, Zenitsu realizes it's been a little bit of time since he's talked to Somnus.

"Hail" though... ]

Uhm... Hello Somnus. [ What's giving proper manners to your elders? ] Oh, have you met Tanjiro? He's a friend from my home world.

[ Getting introductions squared away, at least! ] Tanjiro, this is Somnus. He helped with the house stuff when we just got here in January.

[ Unlike Zenitsu, Tanjiro wastes no time to politely bow at Somnus. ]

Good afternoon, it's nice to meet you, Somnus-san. Thank you for your help, I hope there's a way for me to return the favor.

[ A house gift perhaps? He still has more than enough Dora on him that he could buy something useful for Somnus, like cleaning supplies. ]

Would you like to join us in training?

[He looks from Zenitsu to Tanjiro. With his own introduction handled by Zenitsu, Somnus considers the offer. (And if Tanjiro must return the favor, Somnus would rather that he put that energy toward helping this world.) He draws closer to indicate his interest.]

How does it go?

Dea— Training... [ "Death" is what Zenitsu actually wants to say, and it's probably showing on his face looking tired ]

Tanjiro said we should stay in shape just in case, and there weren't any distractions so I'm stuck here...

[ He says like he doesn't want to be by his friend's side but he certainly doesn't mean that seriously. ]

[ He doesn't pay much mind to Zenitsu, he's dealt with this every day. It's fine.

In fact, he places a reassuring hand on Zenitsu's shoulder as he answers Somnus. ]

We do laps around the city in the morning, then an obstacle course on the Ve-Ar then afterwards if we still have time we take the time to spar with each other and help each other improve our breath style.

Zenitsu and I had different masters but turns out our basic training is pretty close so we're just doing what both our teachers had taught us.

[ He does wish there were big gourds lying around though. ]

[Zenitsu doesn't know the meaning of true death—

The difference between him and Tanjiro is already as clear as day. Somnus may be dressed in a tunic in his sandals, but running around the city doesn't strike him as a terrible idea for keeping this body in shape. He turns to Zenitsu.]

What says you?

[ No he doesn't.

Anyways, Zenitsu gives an audible whine out because he somehow forgot these two seem to really like training a lot. It's almost a miracle that they haven't met until now. ]

Ughhh... Why do I get the feeling that it's not just gonna be running now?!

[ This means he's tagging along. Yes. ]

[ More like it's a tragedy that they haven't met before.

As if possible, Tanjiro's bright smile turns even brighter. ]

Great! We'd be honor to have you train with us, Somnus-san. I think we could learn a lot from you.

[ He goes for another polite bow. This time, he uses the hand he has over the other boy's shoulder to gently force Zenitsu to bow as well. ]

[A right tragedy that's being rectified now.

Somnus has no intention of adding to the boys' routine. What he intends is to play the part of an accompanying observer as he's been doing for most of his existence, which means Tanjiro and Zenitsu can pretend he's not even there. He stands off to the side whether or not Zenitsu bows, waiting for them to proceed in their training.]

[ Oh dear. Zenitsu lets himself get dragged along for the bow. Tanjiro's the one with the most manners between the two, really. And to think Zenitsu's the older one...

Anyways, with the introductions out of the way, they should move on with the training regime. ]

Sooo... I guess we can start running then?

[ After all, that's what they were going to do in a moment. He's definitely not looking forward to the sparring that's going to come after the running, though. ]

I guess so.

[ There's a subtle inquiring tone to Tanjiro's answer. Huh, he thought Somnus might have more to add but he's familiarizing with his scent. Maybe he'll add more later once he's seen them in action!

And so, Tanjiro does some quick stretches and starts running ahead from the other two. His movements are light, he knows that Zenitsu and especially Somnus could overtake him anytime. ]

[Between the three of them, Somnus has the worst manners, so it's fine.

Being unfamiliar with their usual route, Somnus maintains himself a step behind Tanjiro and Zenitsu at a light pace through the run. This is an endurance activity, so there's no need to go fast as long as the heart is pumping and muscles are flexing. A consistent exercise like this should do his body well, being more accustomed to fighting in bursts.

That, and he hasn't had a body made of flesh and blood for millennia until now. He has to breathe in order to ensure that all of his muscles get the oxygen they need for the demand being placed on them. The calm wind brushes past them and cools their warm bodies—small reminders of what it feels like to be alive.]

[ Zenitsu's most likely the only one being noisy while the three run. Well at first, he'd be quiet, but after a good while, this blond is definitely going to start whining about getting some rest. ]

Tanjiroooo... Can we rest a biiiit?

[ Hard work is hard to keep up with. No wonder Kuwajima would constantly try to knock some more training sense into this kid. ]

[ Beads of sweat had started to form on his forehead, but he hardly feels the aches in his muscles, it won't be noticeably to him for another few laps.

Without stopping, he looks back to Zenitsu with his brows furrowed. ]

But we still have a halfway to go. We would be done before you know it Zenitsu, so lets run a little harder, is that okay, Somnus-san?

[ If Urokodaki had any say of this, he'd have them all run faster without any kind of warning. Tanjiro starts to carefully pick up the pace, a familiar burning sensation starts to seep into his legs as he runs a little harder. ]

[Fortunately, Somnus is kind enough to issue a forewarning as he briefly locks eyes with Tanjiro.]

Very well.

[That's all he says before he picks his pace up to match the rise in Tanjiro's speed. Don't fall behind now, Zenitsu. Stopping now will only make it harder to resume.]

[ what to heck ] What the heck Tanjiro!!! You asshole!!!

[ No, he's not going to diss at Somnus, mainly because Tanjiro's the one who suggested it first. Zenitsu falls behind the two for a bit, and he lets out a frustrated yell before forcing himself to get up to speed with the other two.

Curses for being the minority!!! ]
