[ Cyan isn't entirely sure where to meet everyone, but outside Vianca's bookstore seemed like an easy place to remember. She looks around as she approaches, guitar on her back and ears bouncing. She's in her usual gothic lolita clothes, considering it the perfect outfit to make music in.

Now to just look out for the boys.

She texts them both: ]

[ Zenitsu's gotten a chance to acquire some new clothes since earning some money over the past month. Nothing drastically new, it was just additional plain white shirts and black pants similar to his usual uniform, mainly because he wasn't used to the western and more modern shoes quite yet. The only difference is that he doesn't have his black demon slayer jacket on, since there's no need to fight, and the instrument he was carrying by the strap over his shoulder.

He's just about to arrive at the meeting place when he receives the text. While he's gotten used to the technology since using it for the past month, it was still a little awkward for him to text and walk at the same time. So instead of answering right back, he decides to hurry to meet up instead.

When he sees Cyan, Zenitsu immediately brightens up as he gives a wave. ]

Cyan-chan~! I'm here!

stumbles in but through a different door this time.

[Not long after Cyan sends her text letting them know she's at the designated meeting spot, Tamaki shows up to this session in something that somewhat matches Cyan! Fancy that.

But, huh! So that's the friend Cyan mentioned. That's a little surprising, but Zenitsu's gotta have some kind of talent to be carrying around that instrument, he figures.]

Yo. [He waves a hand in greeting. Here he is, you two!]

[ Cyan's ears perk between both voices sounding off and she quickly races over to them as they arrive. ]

Yotsuba-san, Zenitsu-san - thank you both for coming along! I hope Vianca doesn't mind us meeting in front here...

[ Oh, so this guy was the person who Cyan was referring to when she was talking about idols! Now that he thought about it, it made a lot of sense.

Either way, though, he's quickly picking up the outfit discrepancies. Hrm... ]

I didn't know you and Cyan know each other... But I guess that makes sense.

[ Huff huff, he wants to match with Cyan-chan!!! it'll look weird for him wearing blue though ]

I'm sure she wouldn't mind... As long as we don't cause a disturbance?

[Someone please get Zenitsu a pair of cat ears so they can have a cohesive group look. Yellows and blues can look good together, they just need to fit some kind of theme otherwise!]

I don't think it'll be a problem. [He turns back to regard the shop for a brief moment, as if to, perhaps, check and see if there are any patrons visible from the windows.] Might give the place a little more attention, too.

[So, you know, everyone wins in that scenario.]

[ Oh!! Cyan bops her fist into her palm. ]

I didn't consider that. I hope it'll help her! [ Now that she is reassured, she smiles sheepishly. ] I wanted to try to play and sing something together. I figured it'd be more fun together than alone!

Uhm - [ She brings her guitar to her front and strums a couple of strings. She made sure it was good to go before arriving, and it still sounds like it doesn't need to be tuned. ] If it's not too selfish... I mean.

That's not selfish at all! It'd definitely be more fun than playing by yourself!

[ In all honesty, a lot better than how Zenitsu would act to get his friends to play board games... probably literally dragging them into playing it. ]

But I'm not sure how a shamisen would sound along with your guitar? I feel like they could've given me a guitar instead too, not a shamisen.

[ It's a combination of sounds he'd definitely wouldn't have heard before, so it's definitely a scary thought of having a chance of disappointment. That was the last thing he wanted to cause when they're supposed to be having fun. ]

Dunno if I've ever heard a combo like that before, either.

[But! He sounds far more like he's interested in what the outcome might be than concerned that the answer to that wonder might be 'bad'. Unless Cyan has some insight for them, though, there's really only one other way to find out.

Said with a wholehearted curiosity,] Any songs that the both of you know to test it out? Or do you think just playing around until something sounds good would be better?

[ Cyan taps her finger to her chin. ]

Well - Zenitsu-san, does he know about - ? [ YOU BEING AN OLD BUGGER FROM THE PAST ] Is it okay to say...?

[ He's totally an old geezer just say it

But he does get what Cyan's trying to imply ]

Oh, I don't think I've gotten to let him know what era I'm from...

[ He then looks over at Tamaki, ] I'm actually from the Taisho era, so I might not know any of the songs you two would know?

[ He already feels bad, man. Is he going to drag everyone else down? Should he not do anything? Some more negative thoughts start swimming in his head as he fidgets with his own hands. ]

[So young, but so old?? He knows he's seen and been told wilder things in his stay here, so it's not a difficult to swallow claim, but it's one that still catches him a bit off-guard.]

For real?! [Oh! Wow!!] The Taisho era... I mean, I guess that's not ancient history, but I don't know how many songs I'd know that you'd know, too. [So, that's a very reasonable concern. Hm...!]

Not like I'd mind learning new things, though.

[Things Zenitsu knows, or things Cyan knows, or even things made up on the spot, that's sort of what he was anticipating either way.]

[ Cyan's in full agreement, nodding along. She tries to think of what they could do, knowing full well that they could combine their talents and instruments just fine - it was a matter of getting Zenitsu used to them while adjusting to him. ]

In a band, everyone contributes something unique... We should do something unique, too - something that belongs to us rather than someone else... don't you think?

[zapdope]

Sorry for troubling you guys...

[ He's gonna have to work hard on listening to all the songs. Times like this was when his ears are super handy, he thought. ]

Uhm... I guess you guys can play a song and I can listen? If I hear it at least once I can at least try to recreate the song with the shamisen?

[ worth a shot..? maybe??? He'll need to go see if this world can provide different music styles as well, so he can acclimated to them. If he's going to help them with creating music, it's the least he can do, Zenitsu thinks. ]

[He wouldn't want Zenitsu to be left out of the creation portion of this, but... maybe that would work better for him? He turns to glance back to Cyan with a thoughtful hum.]

What do you think? Something quick and easy to start off with, build up from there?

[May as well nail down a starting point, after all!]

[ She nods to both of them. ]

That's a great idea!

Uhm... [ She wonders if something too upbeat would be hard to follow, but at the same time, she's too excited to play something slow.

Well, a song can start slow and pick up pace, so she starts to try and do something a little slow. She decides to take inspiration from Tsurezure, since they actually use a shamisen. ]

This isn't my own song, but I think we can test it out!

[ Music style is so drastically different with the era, might as well think it's from a foreign country, regardless of whether they're speaking the same language and using instruments that are familiar to him. At the same time, though, it's super catchy. ]

Whoa, you guys got these kind of songs, too? That's amazing!

[ It also feels like it'd be super fun playing it, and he's already itching to try it out. ]
