With the coming of Lasra, there was at least one new shop opening its doors in the quiet bustle of the Shopping District! There had been a distinct lack of places to simply sit in that district, but look no further if you were searching for such a spot. There are warm lights on inside, with the sights of large, comfy chairs and couches beckoning from the welcoming windows.

At times, from the same windows, you can catch sight of a pink little girl sitting near the glass, thumbing through an honest-to-goodness paper book.

Walking through the door would earn you a soft greeting. Welcome to Petals & Pages~

That makes sense. That's sorta how reading the Cosmogony was for me.

[A whole lot of ancient tales tangentially relevant to him and his world, but not what one would call a shared experience like history. It was always too vague for that.]

[Vianca nodded, eyeing him a bit as he sat. Was he really okay?]

My name is Vianca. You're... new, correct? [Vianca was pretty sure she'd remember seeing a... was this a Glameow? A Purrloin? Probably not, considering her track record with these guesses, but. Maybe! But she would have remembered seeing her before.]

I arrived a few months ago.

[ Zenitsu jerks a little from the change in Kyoko's sound. ]

O-oh... That doesn't sound good... [ how does one turn this back around to a better topic? He's not Tanjiro with his super optimistic personality, so he shifts a little uncomfortably. He's curious of what part of Tokyo she moved to, but he's going to hold off from asking that question. ]

M-maybe we can talk about something else? Sorry for bringing up bad memories.

[Luckily, Vianca already knew Pyra. Not very well, of course, but enough to understand that the hand on her head meant her no harm. It meant it was a lot easier to relax and not tense up so much under the touch.]

I am glad. I do not have many other ways to be useful, so it is good the robots let me purchase the space.

And anyone who doesn't, there's no reason they couldn't just stay here. But that's assuming a lot! So I'll make sure to ask them. Me, I've been curious as to when they'll decide we've done "enough."

[That sounds like the kind of goalpost that could get pushed waaaay back if no one keeps an eye on it. One more month, one more month, and all that. Magolor has never worried about it all that much; he still firmly believes in his own stay here only lasting as long as it takes the Lor to find him. But he can't take that for granted.]

Oh, I'm sure they have all the standard laws about murder and theft. Though I admit I haven't looked into that deeply. I'm a law-abiding citizen, whether or not the laws actually exist!

But they don't enforce any rules about physical contact, at least. Which I do find a little odd. Either they put a lot of faith in us to do the right thing, or they know the gods themselves having punishing us covered.

I came here to get some music ideas. I was hoping to help with songs because music is... all I'm good at, but -

[The context makes it obvious that whatever being a wizard means to her, it comes along with a community, a set of guidelines and a discourse and some principles. Interesting. Magolor can judge it no more than he can really relate to it.]

[ Zenitsu watches intently at what Cyan's doing, and when he sees the message pop up only seconds after she sent it... It's like lightning struck. ]

The message being sent...in an instant?? No writing it down, dialing number? How's it possible???

You can't be a wizard - or the kind of wizard I am, anyway - without taking the Oath, and meaning it.

[Honestly, that's fair. She's not expecting him to react a certain way.]

Pyra's outburst does get a few disgruntled looks from the others around, but not much else, and if Guzma wasn't already starting to feel weirdly flustered and a bit embarrassed, he'd have half a mind to stare them down in return. His glower is, uh...w-well. It certainly send s a very direct message.

As it stands, he's scratching his cheek and not really meeting Pyra's gaze. Yeah, he's good at music, has been even since he joined Team Skull and eventually became its boss. He can dance better than he can sing, though, so he only thought of this as more of an off-hand hobby that sort of blended into his freestyle.]

Ah...really? I mean, s' not even finished. And I can't do any audio tuning with just my voice, but--uh. I guess? Thanks? [WHAT ARE COMPLIMENTS AND PRAISE?? THOSE AREN'T GIVEN TO HIM REGULARLY.]

[Three that he's met. The Keebler Elf twins he's met from back in Lifeaftr (and here too, of course), and now this kid. He's mulling over the thought of just how prominent they're starting to become - or just magic users in general - before she catches his off guard a bit with the burst of light in her hands. Guzma blinks, and Golisopod startles slightly as well, before clicking his long, curved claws and trying to touch it. It won't burn him even if it is hot, and those claws are thick and sturdy, much like the rest of him.]

Yoooo, that's sick. M' afraid nothing like that exists where I am, but this big guy here, and plenty'a other species of Pokemon what we got have abilities and natural traits what work just the same.

[The light is, in fact, perfectly harmless - it'll bob about a little as Golisopod pokes it, but it's otherwise fine.]

The friends we make are arguably more fantastic than whatever abilities we have, anyway.

[She shrugs, giving an embarrassed smile.]

Without wizardry, I doubt I would have met mine.

[And Guzma's doing just fine on that account.]

[He moved to get up, though it takes a few tries due to how plush the chair is.]

You're doing what you can... in the best way possible. [ And she truly means that. Vianca has built a place to allow people to relax, and hopefully, feel more at ease even when they are away from home. ]
