We appear to have incongruent belief systems. On my planet, the gods are said to be manifestations of the star itself. Their power as well as their seemingly interminable lifespans are heavily connected to why they are seen as deities. If a being was relatively young and it was simple to discern the point of their creation, it would be difficult to view them as a god.

...I suppose Ardyn is the closest thing we have to that. But he is not worshiped. Rather, he has been cast aside as a monster by most.

I suppose you could say that our gods are worshiped because they are strong, they are not strong because they are worshiped. It is strange to think of them becoming enfeebled due to a lack of worshipers. It brings to mind my machines rather than our gods.

He had his beliefs and certain things he would get defensive about - worrying about blaspheming gods wasn't usually one of those things. He was never very good at showing reverence for the gods.]
