I don't even know what I'm asking. [A quiet, frustrated exhale through his nose, pressing a hand to his forehead.] I guess? Cor wants to change the future- or the past, if we go back far enough. And he's got a point, that if there's things we can do that would prevent thousands of deaths, maybe it's worth it...? But...

[What's the trade-off? Who dies or stops existing if they screw things up, would the number be higher or lower in the end? The scourge came back once already, despite it disappearing when the country was founded. Will the world be okay if these changes screw up the line of Lucis, if the Chosen King is never born? If the scourge comes back again, there'd be no one to stop it.

Wouldn't this be a failure of his big destiny? Is it running away?]
