[Regis frowns. What she has said is a little and a lot all at once. He has no idea what she means by having "splicing a part of her crystal," but he has known for awhile that her existence is very difference from his and Noctis' and that she would never do anything that wouldn't help him. If that is what she needed to do, then he will trust her to have done the right thing, though he is a little more uncertain how much "doing the right thing" might have hurt her.

Her insistence that they talk once Noctis wakes up is where the "a lot" comes in. As much as he has tried to convince himself otherwise, she has just made it clear that there is more about the future that Noctis hasn't told him about. Perhaps even, that none of the others from Eos' future have told him about. They had worked very hard to make sure he didn't find out about Aulea dying until he lived through it. What else could possibly be so bad that they are going to the same effort to hid it from him? And will it make things better or worse if he and Noctis finally do talk to each other about them?]
