Somehow Sougo always forgets just how scary illness in general is to Tamaki. He forces in a deep breath before letting out a sigh and smiling at Tamaki, trying his best to make it a super believable smile.

"I'm okay. I promise."

He actually uses his free hand (the one not clutching petals) to grab onto Tamaki's hand and squeeze it softly.

"And I'd really hate to miss out on spending a little more time with you here, since you went to all that trouble to surprise me."
