[Aerith had felt a similar way over the last few weeks, their living arrangements hadn't changed too much, but the ways in which it had were amazing to her! Now when she lounged all over him it wasn't because she was bored or just wanted a little human contact, it was because she wanted to be beside him. And the sentiment was shared.

She still went about her life as usual, she'd help out Regis at Valeo and Tony at his bar, then come back in time to cook and spend time with Sephiroth.

And those were the times she really enjoyed. They'd fallen into a little routine of it, but so far at the end of the day they each went their separate ways. Sephiroth would go to his room and Aerith would go to hers. But this night, she was unsettled. Sleep didn't come immediately and when it did her dreams soon woke her up again.

Gasping she sat up straight in bed, eyes wide and staring into the dark. For a heartbreaking minute she had no idea where she was. She didn't recognise the room... and she called out for her mother. But her mother wouldn't answer, she knew that. This wasn't home. This wasn't Sector Five. This was somewhere else... Slowly it came back to her. This was a different planet. This was Havenwell. This was her new home.

Aerith still felt cold though. Cold and suddenly so very alone.

Her arms wrapped about herself, knees pulled up to her chest and she leaned against them and did her very best to calm her beating heart.

But in the end Aerith knew it was no good. She slipped out of bed and to her door, easing it open she took a half step out and paused, listening. There were no sounds. Aerith could almost convince herself she was all alone and that didn't sit right with her at all. As quietly as she could, with one hand trailing along the wall, dressed just in her pyjamas, she made her way to Sephiroth's bedroom. There she paused. Hesitated... before she lifted a hand to knock lightly.]
