Sephiroth turned to regard Genesis with a follow up question on his lips, but then he saw what Genesis was holding and everything suddenly became clear. After all, Sephiroth had his own item in need of fixing. It was a photograph of the three of them. Or, at least, it was supposed to be. What Sephiroth received instead was a trio of chocobos, one red, one dark blue, and one white, all of them in vague approximations of their outfits.
“Of course. We certainly wouldn’t want to leave you looking like this either,” he said, instead of commenting on the copy of LOVELESS Genesis was holding out. Sephiroth didn’t know what was wrong with it but if Genesis was this keyed up about it it had to be bad.
He held up the 8 x 8 photograph for Genesis to see. The original had been a gift and seeing it now brought back memories even though it was all wrong.
