Oh, it was. She didn't care who I was or that my father was the king. She insisted we had to go taste test some of the sweets to make sure they were safe for everyone else. It was our royal duty!

[Never mind if somehow they were poisoned, the last one who should be testing them was the only prince.]

She had learned about taste testers in school recently, you see, and was enthralled as young children so often are. She also insisted she had to have help and I was the only one near her age around, so it obviously had to be me. We eventually ended up under the drink table with a pile of sweets to try. We might have gotten away with it if not for my nerves. I unconsciously raised the temperature around us and the ice sculpture on the table began melting and then collapsed, taking the table with it.

[Whoops.]

That she was. Three years for a few months out of the year and two for the rest to be exact.
