That particular aspect was not one we had an opportunity to determine. Some would remain in place, with no such lapses, while others would experience that odd pull back and forth, taken away to a central location to remain in stasis, similarly to how they are taken to the temples here.
It is likely that these scenarios, being drawn between worlds, having different experiences in these realities, could be more... spread than we realize. We bear witness to much within our own worlds, other things can come to us from other realities, and so the same must go for other realities pulling others worlds in.
The problem is there is no certainty in this, the stability of these... calls to other planes, what might be remembered or lost, but perhaps that is because the very nature of being pulled away to begin with is tenuous.
