I've had to adjust to the concept of seasons myself, or at least what might be anticipated in them.
[ Granted, the world around them
also
had to adjust, given how unpredictable and even dangerous the weather had been before stabilizing. ]
But I suppose they do follow a reasonable enough pattern. A more temperate nature, at least wherever this city is located on the planet.
