Emet-Selch | Final Fantasy XIV

[Get on the Hydra's Back]

[Fighting is not - and never has been - Emet-Selch's preferred pastime. But an interconnected series of (what he reads as) miniature magitek devices that can be formed into any shape? That is something that he can't deny catches his interest.

(He always has been an architect, at heart.)

He starts simple enough. An Allagan tomelith, glowing gently blue. A suit of magitek armor, at both half-scale and full size. But bit by bit his creations grow more complex, as he tests what the nanobots are capable of.

A replica of Dalamud's outer shell, at a much reduced scale, but in as much detail as he can manage, otherwise.

A nightmarish creature, which seems to have entirely too much mouth and eyes that are either all but impossible to see or straight up not there.

Eventually, though, he turns to an old favorite and bit by slow bit a city blossoms under his fingers. A thing of gleaming spires and gently curving twists of metal, spreading out to the edges of the space he's been granted.]

[This Might As Well Haven]

[When Emet-Selch manages to eventually pull himself away from the simple joy of creating - or, possibly, is made to leave so the next person can spend time exploring the wonders of the nanobots - he turns his attentions to the festival itself.

Or rather, to the various food stalls lining the street. He drifts for a moment, perusing the various options on display and then, after a moment of further consideration, turns to whoever happens to be nearby.]
