"Yeah," Kai sighed in content as they got all cozied up proper. There was Shinji all warm against him, here were Kai's limbs draped artfully around him. There they were, with only soft things to cushion them instead of the hard floor and unyielding counter.

And there was the ice pack, placed so carefully just so. Kai didn't really wince, but there was a distinct crinkle of his nose as that cold settled on to his person.
