Only now, peering into her own future, does that end seem to include other factors she cannot properly discern. Still, the past is painful, while the future is hopeful-- because others will live.
Furthermore, her past detracts from others speaking of their own, of their own world, or of how they have been hurt by it. Compared to so many here she is privileged-- she is immortal, she has lived for an eternity, she is one of three of the powers that have created her world. Whatever pain she has felt is a fraction of her existence. Others lead such fleeting lives in comparison, and with such hardship. She's both heard it and seen it firsthand. Hugging others, expressing her deepest sympathies, crying for them... feels so meaningless at times, when so many continue to suffer, and she can never do enough. Thus at the very least, she doesn't wish to detract from listening to them.
To express her own pain would feel disrespectful to all that she's caused harm to, everyone that she's killed, before.
