"The society is none the wiser. ...Or perhaps I'm simply a good enough duelist for them not to care? Some of them look down on me for only engaging in casual fights, of course, but they still respect my skill. They've got little choice but to, when they're facing down the barrel of my gun or the tip of my blade."
