[He remembers her speaking of the Titans before, and what her words mean. They were continents. Entire continents fell and burned and were destroyed. It's horrifying to think about, especially now that he's seen the breadth of Lucis in person rather than just on a map, taken a train through Niflheim's stolen territory and seen the scale of his own world. Losing two continents would mean losing most of Eos entirely. It's unimaginable.

That sort of destructive power, it... doesn't sound at all like a privilege. And by the tone of her voice, with how much she struggles with it despite trying to remain strong, he can't imagine her viewing it as such, either. Not when all he's seen of her before has been a focus on saving, saving people, saving the world, this one and his own and hers, especially. It doesn't match up with all he's seen her say and do since they met. Not if it wasn't necessary, not if there was another way.

His eyes drift from her to the field around them, feeling her against his side and the solid tree trunk at his back. Elysium, a paradise. It's beautiful, lush and peaceful, but... empty, just as she'd said. Just her alone, for centuries. He's quiet, thinking over what he might say to that, how he feels about her words. Finally, he speaks up again only to ask,]
