"Something... something like that," she agrees, with another sheepish, shaky little laugh. But now that she's had a few moments away from it, it seems all the stranger. Imaginative though she knows is, she can't figure out where she got the idea for that monster, or for whatever was going on with Shinji when he went up against it--all of that had been pretty weird, right? And that woman's voice shouting at him hadn't been sort of distinctive, but it wasn't one she recognized from anywhere in particular. Where did she get it?

"So--you've felt like this before?" He'd said that a minute ago, hadn't he? "You mean, like, just having weird dreams with friends in them? Ah, I guess that happens to everyone sometimes...."
