Carl huffs out a laugh and takes it back, nudging at Coil gently with his elbow. He skims back up to the top of the chapter and starts to read. He stays quiet, but the further he gets, the more that grin disappears and flushed embarrassment takes its place.
It's kind of eerie, somebody creating and writing out thoughts like this. Like they know what's going on inside their heads and laying it out for the world to see. But it's not like he can look away, either. He should. Shouldn't even be humoring this, but he soaks it all in.
