He probably didn't need to be holding his hand, but it was kind of nice. There had kind of been an assumption that he wouldn't get a chance to do this again, since there wouldn't be any more exploring with Kei. So part of it was a little bit of greediness, and part of it was just... He didn't like the idea of leaving this smaller sad kid feeling like he was all alone.
