His touch stayed right there, gradually shifting to a small, rubbing circle. He'd gotten in a bit of practice with that kind of soothing motion since coming to Havenwell, so it wasn't as clumsy as it could have been. Just a little bit. It did its best to fill the space though, as Kai lingered on what he wanted to say.
