It seems that losing a homeworld should be personal. Lup must have had another family in that world at one point. Her brother, perhaps parents, cousins, maybe a mentor; and if not people then places where she grew up. Is that not important? Or... is Lup suggesting it is not worthy of being personal, significant? Yet for all of it to be gone...
